I did 17 miles today with 1900 ft of elevation. I was mostly in tour the whole time. I had 27% battery left and it was above 90 degrees. The giant app keeps disconnecting from the bike it maybe the phone going to sleep.
I am not sure about it feeling front heavy when descending but I really haven’t been down any chutes yet or steep downhills . I have one ride in. But my back feels better with a rise bar normally.
The spokes are saprim which are butted spokes.
I am still adjusting to the bike myself
It will take sometime to learn what works. But you thought process is correct. The more you do the less the bike does which would extend the range.
My bad I looked back at my notes and the 46.9 weight was with 384g pedals (so 46.1 without pedals).
I bought the bike and watched them remove the tubes so that was with tubes weighed with a Park Tools scale.
I just did 15.1 miles mostly on active and used 62% of the battery. I wasn’t able to capture the ride on the app after my bike disconnected. Will make sure to save the ride or screenshot in the future before disconnecting. Or maybe I will learn how the use the app properly.
The bike climbs...
I was told the extender was going to be 500.00. Yes 540 would have nice. I should be able to have some real world numbers over the next week. I am hoping their estimate of 21 miles of extreme riding is accurate.
So I picked up the Elite 2 and will get it out this week. Shout out to Bicycle John’s in Canyon Country Ca for making this happen.
Lots of bits on order but no wrap kits available yet. Will make do with a roll of 3m tape for now.
Will update after I put some miles on it.
Has anyone who owns an elite have any real range numbers ? They claim 21 extreme miles but on what setting. I am looking at the Elite 2 but am concerned about range even with an extender.
New to the forum just wanted to say hi.
Hope to gain some knowledge and save some money by researching.
Just got a 2019 Xduro Allmtn 6.0 coming from my Yeti Pro Fro yes I just
dated myself.
