I don't do Facebook. I did for years, but it's designed to make you feel sad. It is based in the city where I live. Facebook Dublin, and Google, LinkedIn, PayPal etc. I digress.
I'm gonna start printing my own 3d printed bike parts, where it's admissible.
It would be great to see similar...
It's about to become a very big thing.
Copyright infringement aside, I'd prefer to pay 70c for plastic, over €140 for a stupid chain guide. That doesn't even exist already.
I know how to use all the software.
I get it for free, sponsorship kinda.
Does anyone else have any photos of 3D...
Hi, sorry I edited my post (removed the H03A picture, and replaced with H03C).
Yup, those look like the ones alright. Do you remember if they are all in one piece, I can't remember.
Also, any thoughts on those Alligator pads? The rattle on the Ice Tech fins happens when the fins touch the metal...
Hi all,
I was looking for some sintered Shimano (or alternative?) BR-M820 Saint pads, with fins... but rather than seperate pads and fins... do you know if they make versions with the pads and fins all in one piece? The reason I ask is because the 'seperate' versions tend to rattle like crazy...
Whoever designed this, did it wrong.
This is not a 'chain-guide', it's a shitty 'bash-guard' at most.
It should be 'H' shaped in section, and at least three times the diameter.
How is that ever supposed to keep the chain in place?
I just got a reply from MTB Ireland that might solve the problem:
"Hi dara, i own a 3d printer.
A potential simple fix here is to fill the space between the frame and chai ring with a custom plastic spacer that slots in there and sticks to the frame of the bike with semi permanent double sided...
It's a tricky situation. My CUBE Stereo Hybrid Action Team 160 2020 initally came with an SRAM EX1 Drivetrain. I swapped that out to a Shimano XT 11sp XG spline setup after the initial cassette wore out. It's over €400 for a replacement XG-899 SCAM Cassete.
The bike came with a 16T, and now...
Evening all; bit of a technical question for you. Does anyone know of a chainguide or bodge for a Bosch CX "Gen 2" motor that prevents the chain hopping off the front sproket and getting sucked into the space between the front sproket and the bike?
If I'm going over rock gardens fast, or the...
Hi all,
Does anyone know if this would possibly work with a CUBE Action Team 160 2018 (Bosch CX Gen2 motor).
The black plastic chain guide part. Or is it specific to a different brand of eMTB with the same Miranda Bash-ring?
There is enough room behind the sproket for the chain to fit, and my...
Hi all,
I hope you're having a good 2022 so far :)
I have a CUBE Stereo 160 Action Team 2019 that has had an upgrade from SRAM EX1 to Shimano XT 11spd drivetrain.
This was done in the local bike about a year ago. I may have recently bent the dropper hanger, would like to replace it and my...
Hi everyone,
I have been trying to explore some 'off-piste' black trails in my local area.
There are some great trails on Trailforks that I've been following, with my phone.
This is far from ideal. Picture the scenario;
1. Big rock drop into 'Y' fork? Which way do I go? .....Let me get my...
Hi everyone,
My CUBE Stereo Action Team 160 2019 has been back in the local bike shop for a replacement out-of-warranty new Bosch CX Gen2 motor for the last three weeks now. Does anyone know if there is massive a backlog to get Gen2 CX motors shipped from Germany, specifically to Dublin...
