Hi, assembled my new Spectral yesterday(Shimano e8000) and took it for a brief ride around the streets. Started off without the motor just to see what it was like ,and all was good. Turned motor on and there is a loud squeek when it's under load . I Pedalled it to above the 15mph motor cut off...

Well,I've bit the bullet and ordered a spectral 6 in large (despite the canyon site saying medium ) from the outlet for £2800. Hope it fits okay! At 5'10 I usually come in at a medium on other manufacturers size charts but these have always felt too small for me,so it's ?. Can anyone recommend...

Yes I can see your point, but some of the lads on this forum have had several motor failures,and a few local levo riders I know have had problems. If I could buy the canyon from the local bike shop for the price mentioned above I'd get one in a heartbeat . Perhaps I think too much?.

If you're in the UK and anything went wrong with a canyon ebike , won't it be a nightmare trying to get it sorted? Has anyone had to send one back under warranty,if so how did it go? So do you guys think the Shimano motors and batteries are more reliable than the specialized/ brose offerings...

An outboard motor would probably be more suitable for Cannock after the amount of rain that's fallen here lately! Hope it went well though.
