Well, my physics training (nearly 40 years ago) tells me that it must be your technique as objects of different mass would accelerate due to gravity (fall) at the same rate. Wind resistance could account for very small differences but I would expect that to be negligible.
It's nice having electricity. I have a little DC refrigerator and an induction burner, and I can charge my bike and devices, too. I have solar panels, just not installed yet.
Hope to get the panels on in the next week or so and will post photos. I have the ladder rack, just need to pick up the aluminum tubing and nuts/bolts.
Most of my rides are under 10 mi, so if I charge to 80 or 90% I can easily get two or three rides in. It's easier, not charging every time, and if it extends the life of the battery that's a bonus!
Reminds me of the night I lost my virginity. We were both quite drunk and afterwards she puked on my leg. Giving this circumstances it did not trouble me.
Might throw off the aerodynamics a bit. Each panel is 148x76 cm, and 24 lb. Battery bank alone is 52 lb. Besides, I need to leave the battery to power the refrigerator!
By "Capacity" I assume you mean health (on the ST Unlocker app), not the current state of charge.
Mine is 100% after 23 cycles. Currently charged si 94%. I normally only charge to 80-90% but was planning to ride today so let it charge a little extra. EC-E6000 charger. 504wh battery, purchased in...
I don't know. It would be tricky to implement so I don't expect I'll ever see one, but it's an idea I've had for years. Would look slightly like an elongated Thudbuster seatpost.
Yup! At least it's charged with solar. I ordered a 1700 wh portable power station ("Solar generator") for long camping trips so I would have electricity for charging eBike, and other electrical needs. Yesterday my solar panels arrived! I have 540 watts of solar which was able to charge at a rate...
How about a seatpost that move the seat backwards and down at the same time. It could pivot at the seat and the frame, instead of sliding in and out of a tube.
