I had the same problem with my brakes. Remove the pads, clean them & the rotors (discs) with brake cleaner & a clean cloth. Then lightly rough up the pads with a metal file. Clean the file first, if you're owt like me they get used for alsorts. Make sure you wear some latex gloves as the oils...
