That helmet certainly saved you from a serious injury (y)
I personally would save it to show my step granchildren just how important they are.
I tried falling off earlier this year, but it didn't do anything for my back :unsure::ROFLMAO:
A Oxford Beast chain. 22mm of heavy metal. I got the 2 meter version.
I looked at Almax, Protector & quite a few others. The reviews & more so the price won it for the Oxford.
It's piggin heavy
Doesn't that depend on what it's used for!
I had a hub drive on my old HT & now in the process of fitting it to a FS, just waiting for my LBS to spoke it in to a 27.5 as the kit came with a 26.
I had the same problem with my brakes. Remove the pads, clean them & the rotors (discs) with brake cleaner & a clean cloth. Then lightly rough up the pads with a metal file. Clean the file first, if you're owt like me they get used for alsorts.
Make sure you wear some latex gloves as the oils...
I have some photos of the one I had in the late seventies. It was a kind of purple colour.
Very unstable at high speed & don't run over coke cans, as they wrap around your front tyre & bring you to sudden stop with the rear wheel in the air. Only did it the once and about crapped myself :poop:o_O
I was thinking the other day how much it costs for me to fully charge my battery from empty (well almost).
Obviously it depends on your supplier, economy seven, country etc.
I refuse to have a smart meter. Has anyone actually checked to see how much it cost them?
Just for curiosity.
I too have rode bikes near as damn it all my life.
I discovered an ekit a few years ago, fitted it to my hard tail to help with my commute. My arthritic knees have thanked me over the past few years. I rode it until March when I purchased a E-Zobop. I found out that my spine is also riddled...
I run Tannus in both of my bikes. I got a slice in my rear tyre the other month & Tannus certainly saved me a walk home. With a tubeless set up, I would have still been waking as the cut was around 20-25mm.
There's for & against with both. It's down to personal preference & what you actually run...
Put down a deposit yesterday for one. Hopefully it'll be in my possession by the end of the month.
Already have a Voodoo Zobop e with the e7000 so no stranger to Shimano.
It's that time of year again when my knees, neck & back hurt all the time.
It's ebike all the way now.
Infact I'm in the process of fitting my ekit to my mtb. Just having the hub spoked into a 27.5 wheel as I type.
Dropped it off Saturday.
I knew I'd be hurting again (like every year).
I could...
Unfortunately cameras aren't much of a deterrent. Unless the crim is already known to the police & they can see their faces clearly or distinctive marks such as tattoos etc, all you can do is watch them remove your goods.
If I was to steal your bike, I wouldn't even have to cover my face. I'm...
I do a lot of shooting & if I shoot locally (walking distance), I take my Rottweiler with me. She had a Tick just above her eye the other week. It was promptly removed.
I'm surprised I've never had one as I'm always out doors shooting, walking or cycling.
My Dad's a retired farmer & he warned me...
I'm looking at getting my Fiancée a Petrigo fs ebike. I can get one for £885.00. Comes with a Bafang hub drive 350 watt motor & a 36v 13.5 Ah battery using Samsung cells.
It all sounds good & YouTube reviews seem in favour. It's so we can get out at the weekend together (hence why I going down...
I agree with you. Urastus mentioned the idea, thought I'd see if it was possible. One through each disc rotor too would render them to carrying.
Just slows them down & crims hate spending too long on something.
I have a good mate that was once very dodgy. He told me that whatever you can do to...
