But isn't the shifting under load a direct consequence of the electronic shifting? It's supposedly shifting at an optimum time, which is antithetical to a direct cable actuated design.
What is the appeal of cable operated t-type? Isn't the entire point of t-type that it is electronically actuated so it can use "shift lanes" or whatever?
It makes sense for them to be flexible, since battery size/shape is important for frame design.
Doesn't mean they are doing it, just that it makes sense why they would.
Keep in mind you can make pretty drastic changes to your posture on the bike with a riser stem/bar. I was having hand and shoulder issues with my stock Levo, but it's way better with a significant rise on the stem and bar. I can sit comfortably much more upright, while still being able to get...
We don't know how long the brands have been aware of the Avinox and its requirements. Haven't Youtube types been testing the Amflow bike for a year or so already?
I think DJI would get all this hype with zero marketing spend. The motor system is objectively impressive, and would obviously excite e-bike customers.
I don't consider this a downside tbh. I'm not that great at mountain biking, and I don't ride aggressively. I think additional weight for stiffness is probably wasted on riders like me.
Obviously no bike is perfect for every rider/trail/style. It can't be, as there are tradeoffs for everything.
It's not really a levo SL, because the defining characteristic of that bike is the minimal power.
It's like the best parts of a turbo levo (but better) with the best parts of a levo SL. It's definitely going to be popular.
How do people feel about the pro version? The price premium is pretty steep, is it actually worth it?
Edit: I think the biggest item in that premium is the carbon wheels. Those can be pretty expensive.
I wonder if DJI has some kind of reviewer restriction on mentioning range? It seems like such an obvious thing to talk about when making a video about an e-bike, but nobody has.
I've only ridden the Fuel of the two, but it's a nice bike. Quiet and feels good to ride. It was a loner, so for my tastes the lack of power and range was an issue, but it sounds like you're looking for a low power short range bike.
