I wouldn't piddle about with 2 grammes off a stem here and 5g off bolts there! For proper saving - look at seat post, seat, tyres, wheels and by far the best bang for buck go 10 speed.
Truly awesome. (y)(y)(y)
I'd just maybe say (for your benefit and new customers!) add 'Specialized Levo Brose Motor Bearings' or similar to the Youtube title as much more likely to be found in a search. :)
As R120 says - wait for the new Kenevo. Yes, there is always going to be something round the corner for years to come but we are really so close to so many new bikes being announced and available in the coming months not least with the new Bosch that unless you are desperate for a new EMTB for...
I think we're for sure going to see more stringent anti-tamper software/hardware as the onus is very much on manufacturers and suppliers to proactively block those trying to derestrict Ebikes.
People *aren’t* checking them - that’s why they fall off! Depends how you are on maintenance. I’m old school so check things regularly. ;)

Any issues with shimano 8000...
It’s not a dust cap it’s a preload cap to pull the arm on which is then secured with the pinch bolts. There was a recent topic on this. Increase the preload with an alu cap and increase the torque on the pinch bolts and check pre and post every ride.

The new Hope Fortus are a great buy - the 30 model has the DH type reinforced rims but the 35 is another option without the extra weight. Be sure to spec the steel freehub body not alu.
There is another topic on this with lots of thoughts but it's getting close to maybe hang on for the 2020 models with rumours of suspension spec changes maybe...
Turbo Levo Comp worth the extra £1K? - EMTB Forums
Ha! Thought it might be that - riding it with that little amount of post in the ST and the strain on the weld would get you into crack-o-rama territory! ;)
