Having this problem this morning with My Orbea Rise H10 2023. It won't charge above 77% Charger light stays solid blue, thinking that the battery is fully charged.
It's not a charger problem, I have 2 Orbea Rise at home, both chargers behave the same way and I am able to charge my other Orbea...
Well, Raili's People, you have nothing to worry about, you don't have a Rise and have no intention to buy one, as I read in your previous post.
Don't want to rewrite my previous post, but it is most likely that I'll get quite a few years out of my battery, not just with luck.
Lesson learned, I will never buy another E-Bike that uses a "custom" battery, not being sure I will be able to replace it after warranty. Too bad we don't have international laws protecting us against "planned obsolescence". For example, even though I had a one year warranty on my Samsung...
Carolina Crawler, I'm glad you enjoyed your visit. Le Massif is great indeed, MSA is a completely different experience, so are the 3 other centers (E-47, SDM and VBN), so make sure you come back and let me know, I'll be more than happy to give you more info. I live in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré (10...
To clarify the E-Bike situation in Québec, anything above 500W with a max assistance speed exceeeding 32 km/h (20 mph) is considered a motorcycle and needs a license plate. Naturally, they are not allowed on public cycle paths. It is true that the law has been loosely applied in the past, but...
Thanks for the linkage info.
It is a bummer that Orbea does not offer the replacement batteries outside of warranty. If I would have know that, I would not have bought a Rise ( I actually bought 2 :( ) .
I just checked on internet if a battery for my Rise H10 2023 (Orbea 540Wh 36v Gen 2). I...
I didn't see you question earlier, I hope you had a great time in the Québec City area.
Here's some general info on the local trails, just in case I could be useful to future visitors.
Mountain biking is very popular in my area, so there are quite a few MTB centers to choose from. E-MTBs...
I am in Canada, ordered a part directly from Orbea, it took 15 days to arrive. Last year, I ordered via my LBS a charger, took also about 2 weeks.
Once I got the confirmation from Orbea my part has been shipped from Spain, it took 5 days to arrive here, so I don't think there would be a huge...
Battery is made of Lithium-Ion cells, so you might want to google it and figure out what the consensus is for longevity. Personally, I try to keep my battery in the range 20 to 80% and will charge it to 100% only if I expect to do a long day of riding.
For long term storage (months), I leave...
It wasn't, your app is really good. In fact I am about to write a post on my home EMTB group to publicize your App.
Configuring the dash was really easy , now I have my dash with the basic info I need when I ride(Battery, distance, time, ride time:
Question: I am thinking of buying a Samsung...
Wow!
I am not much of a "power user" but I taught programming (embedded systems) for 35 years. So I can appreciate the incredible work you put into this app. Thank you so much.
I am sure it has been asked, but here's a suggestion of upgrade I would really love.
The possibility to add a configurable minimal display (battery usage, distance...). This way we could use a smart watch with ST RIDE.
My Orbea Rise is fairly new (1200 km on it), my average ride distance is somewhere around 25K, so I rarely drain more than 40% of my battery. Theoretically, I could recharge the battery every second ride, but I prefer to recharge every time, usually from 45 to 85%.
Correct me if I am wrong, but...
You got me worried for a little while ;)
The EBT360 does not refer to the battery capacity, it's the following numbers that indicates what battery is installed:
I am in the same situation. Just downloaded the app, it's giving me the battery percentage. All I need now is an android phone with a smaller screen than mine ;)
Congrats to the developer, as a retired programmer, I can see all the work that was put in the app.
