I think we will trend toward 300-350 built in and then have 200-300 cans to add in which are water bottle sized. I have a vitus e sommet and it’s better than a lot of the other bikes I have ridden I think it’s due to the removable battery being lower down. I think a Santa Cruz bullit with this...
been struggling on with my old OEM dropper remote for 3 years on the E-eommet, as i thought, well its not too bad... just fitted the wolf tooth... bloody hell, transformative or what! so anyone who hasn't upgraded.. do it its mint!
So finally got round to dismantling my e Sommet rear end for new bearings and found that most of the bearings had one or both of the washers missing, including the main bearing. Always did wonder why the back end was a little sloppy. Bummer!
I keep riding other bikes but none feel as good as mine. I may just end up putting an ep8 motor in mine, and changing to a bigger battery. My mate has a new Whyte e180 and will have a go on that but it’s heavier than mine..... will be interesting
Hi guys I have lost the little rubber bit that covers the socket on my battery today. Wondering if there are any replacements you know about or another cover solution. Ok now but wouldn’t want to leave it till winter.
My wheels have done a couple of winters, been in the shop to be re tried and well are feeling it a bit I think. What would the collective recommend, mid price, strong, nothing carbon!
My e8000 is just starting to feel just a wee bit grindey, nothing serios but after a year and much Peak District demolition mud, I think the BB (or whatever it’s called on an ebike) is needing a re pack or something. New to all this ebikery so bit worried about tearing the thing down. What...
Fantastic!!!
I was looking at your idea and thought, one way round the stack height issue is to have a vertical reel rather than horizontal and a separate pully (like a fishing rod guide loop) mounted to the seat rails that way you could mount to the frame seat tube. Awesome idea!!
First time out at greeno woods on the E Sommet today! Managed to session 12 runs in about 2-1/2 hours, loving having a mini chairlift. Amazing how the weight disappears on downhills.
Yep getting back into jumping was the main reason to get the bike, going to dial in 25% sag and start from there! What are your thoughts on getting a spare battery?
