Not sure if there is a thread on this already, but thought it would be good for the Photography enthusiasts to post pics of their pride & joy/rideouts here. I'll start us off :)
Nice! I went for the e-sommet as wanted the longer travel, but I wish the sommet had the Shimano brakes off the e-escarpe...
Get the E8000 motor guard on there as a minimum I reckon. I fitted it to my Deore E-Sommet - takes some filing down but will fit and is better than nothing.
Hi Folks, the mandatory 15.5mph motor cut out is just a tad too slow imo. Has anyone derestricted/tweaked the motor cutout threshold? If so, I'd be interested in the preferred method - has anyone tried moving the rear sensor to near the cranks to fool the system?

Just wondered what the typical battery range is on an e-sommet with an E7000 motor? If you start from a full battery and use a typical mix of Eco/Trail/Boost on a ride, what sort of mileage can be expected? 50 miles?
Thx Gary. I will pick up on one of the threads already in motion on the DIY options. I have also contacted Rockguardz to see if they have a 3rd party solution as couldn't see anything else from initial searches....
Thanks Gary - yes I mean a motor guard.
I did do a forum search and found quite a few threads on home made solutions - but couldn't find anything about a OEM solution...
Hi all, new owner of a Vitus E-Sommet here (Deore, E7000 version). Looking forward to chatting through experiences with other owners. Also interested in the perennial "What bash guard will fit this bike?" question!!
(edited to include a box-fresh bike pic!)
