ive just put new pads, bedded them in and silent for about 5 minutes, then went for a ride and it was back again. took the pads out and there was a ring of moisture on the back of the pads where the pistons are so that must be my problem... will have to take it to the lbs as that is beyond my...

hi, my Brakes sound terrible. i have taken the pads out, cleaned them, lightly sanded them down and cleaned them again, put them back and i'm still getting the noise. i looked on you tube and tried to get some tips and repeated the process but also gave the disc rota a light sanding. cleaned...

didnt ride before i got my trek rail but this has certainly made me a lot fitter, when i first got it i was in turbo mode quite a lot, but most of the time im in tour or eco mode now. (except very steep climbs) the area i live is at the foot of the cleveland hills so i do get a very good work out :)

fairly new to emtb'ing bought a giant talon E+ sport and fell in love with mountain biking, 6 months later i bought a trek rail 5 and gave the talon to my son. :)
