Maybe pedal cadence has something to do with crank length. I’m 5-11 with long legs (almost 34” inseam). I’m a spinner not a pedal masher. There are no downsides for me running 155-160 cranks.

I have a Kenevo SL and a Fuel Exe. I am finding the range on both bikes to be very close if ridden on equal terrain in equal modes. I have a range extender for the Kenevo and have only used it once or twice in over a year.

I find this to be true of all Fox forks. Their recommended presures are for very aggresive riders. I set air pressure based on sag and ignore their recommendations. I’m usually at least 10 lbs less. On my Fox 38 it’s more like 15lbs less. I do find their recommended rebound/compression settings...

I’m a big fan of shorter cranks. In the 150/160 mode I’m not getting pedal strikes with the stock 165 cranks. I would think 160 with Mullet setup would be the same. What 160 cranks were you able to find that fits the TQ motor?

Are you running a mullet setup? I would be interested in trying. I definitely get the dreaded butt buzz with this bike. For some reason more than I do on my Kenevo SL.

Also, I’m running a 160 fork with a 205x65 shock. Zero clearance issues. I know Trek says it may void the warranty, but I’m confident Cam Mcaul puts far more stress on the bike with 140 in the rear than I will ever do with 150 travel.

If that was done from the factory when they built the bike, I would demand a new frame. That is a complete hack job. I just installed a new shock on my 9.5 and it fit with no problems.

What carbon wheels would you recommend for aggressive trail riding on these lighter, mid power ebikes?

It changes it by roughly 1/2 degree. I can find no downsides to the added 10mm of travel. Full disclosure, my other bike is a Kenevo SL so like longer, slacker bikes already.
