Got to demo the Meta power 29, my friend demoed a Levo at the same time which makes for a good comparison. On the climbs the bikes were evenly matched, I liked the little display the Shimano system has, motor noise is louder but it didn’t bother me at all, we climbed up a mix of steep fire road...

Good point. Went into my LSB yesterday asking about the new Sight VLT, the shop owner loosely said the same thing, Norco have used a non shimano battery.. Then he leaned in a little closer and said quietly, “Buy the Trek Rail instead”

Some good reading here. I demoed a Levo a few weeks back, first time on an ebike and absolutely loved it 60km with 2240m vertical. Got the Commencal Meta power 29 booked for a demo this weekend, looks like a great bike with a killer spec, the smaller battery puts me off a little, I love big...

Yep, no worries did 60km & 2200M Vertical on the Levo, don't think the commie will quite manage that, but would happily be proved wrong.

Love a Shimano build, really tidy bike. My bike mechanic says "how do you spell SRAM... s...h....1....t. the main reason I don't want to buy a levo is the sram builds

The steep seat tube & slack head angle remind me of the Pole Stamina.

Expand on how the sight is a levo clone? Levo - Expensive with terrible spec Sight - Good value with solid spec Only similarity is 29" wheels & the battery range expansion.

This is a game changer, 630 battery plus you can add a range extender. Frame looks really clean & tidy, spec is solid. Definitely on my short list.

Wow that is a killer build for the price, Commencal NZ is based in my home city, definitely arranging a demo.

Its an option, after 29” wheels. Top of the line Reign E looks like a great bike.

Thanks for that mate. Demo rode a Levo Comp with the 7000 battery, did 2000M Vert & 61km was amazing. Commencal so much more bike for your money compared to a levo. Thanks again

Nice bike. Have you done a range test? how far do you think you could go on one battery? I'm looking at the signature edition meta power, just curious how far that Shimano battery will propel you on a long bike ride.

What kind of range are you guys getting out of the Meta? The signature version out shortly looks amazing, just curious how the 500 battery would go, planning on doing big rides.
