Yeah, you remove everything to do with the UDH including the washer this is all replaced by a bush frame insert (part No5 in the linked PDF), don't worry, the bearing wont fall out and there is no spacer to fall out ether...
Yeah and it also states “may” and you’re also conveniently missing out my second post which states that I wouldn’t run it like that…. Anyway, thanks your your input 👍
No need to think anything, it was called a compatibility test which is exactly what this thread is about. Also as I hinted to above, I don’t intend to run my bike like that, in fact both my bikes have full t-type on them now.
It’s ok guys yous don’t need to worry as the correct parts are going on as soon as my XD driver freehub turns up this morning, besides I’m pretty sure the name of this thread is to see what’s compatible or not? I simply had the parts and the time to see what works and what doesn’t! I now know...
For anyone that’s interested, I finally got round to testing the GX T-Type mech with a Shimano 10/51 cassette and a Shimano 12 speed chain and T-Type Bosch 36 toothed chainring on a 2021 Trek Rail.
By following the exact same setup as the full T-Type system on the AXS app I can confirm that it...
Has anyone tried the T-Type mech with a Shimano 10 51 cassette and Shimano chain yet? I might give it a try next week as I have full T-Type on my Fuel EXE and a mix of AXS and Shimano on my Rail, Thinking I might just swap some parts over to check compatibility and at least the Shimano cassette...
My first Gen 4 went at roughly 1000 miles, one of my mates is also on his second Gen 4, surprise surprise, his also went at roughly 1000 miles. I asked the bike shop about this and they also said they had seen a number of bikes with motors gone at roughly 1000 miles... I'd hate to think what...
It works spot on with the E13 chainring, the cranks themselves don't have any bearing on how the system works, I use the E13 chainring with the new GX T-Type.
That’s mines fitted now, I didn’t have to bother about step 9 on the instructions as the fitment is perfect on my bike..
Big thanks to Arron for making them and shipping to the other side of the world and Dave for organising the group buy…. Thanks guys 😃
Has anyone got any experience with Pendle bike racks? Due to it not being cost effective to fit a tow bar mount bike rack to my current car I’m especially interested in their roof fork mount option, it’s rated to 23kg and they advertise it as safe for ebike use, it also fits bikes with a...
I was using a 220 on the rear of my alloy rail and tbh, I ended up going back to a 203 as the 220 just felt like to powerfull especially with MT7 brakes, 203 just feels perfect for my 83kg weight (I still use 220 on the front)
