I'm not even slightly a prude, but reading language like this in a subject line at the top of the forum really lowers the tone of the place. It's not needed.
Well if you look at the spec list of this Cube it is simply top of the line and wants for almost nothing I can see... CUBE Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC Actionteam 27.5 625 actionteam 2020
The price I can get with all discounts and shipping/tax included is £4500... which seems an utterly stonking deal...
Ideally I want a new Bosch motor with internal 625w battery, not an old skool canyon. Budget is flexible so no need for you to get too confused, I just want something good value fo the spec whatever price it is.
Thanks chap. I am just looking for a good all-rounder for commuting during the week and then hitting trails and mountains on weekends. Sadly where I live the chance to try many brands is limited.
Thanks mate great feedback. Few more questions:
1) Does the front and rear suspension feel good then when you push it... firm and capable over big bumps and when it lands? Any negatives?
2) How is the motor noise?
3) Would 29'er wheels fit on this frame or is it limited to 27.5?
Thanks! :)
I have been researching e-bikes to buy that offer good price/performance and I first saw Decathlons new Stilus and was quite interested. Then I saw The Cube Stereo 140 series and was distracted by that. However I then saw the Cube 160 HPC series and stumbled across the following bike:
Cube...
I am really confused as to why Decathlon basically have no detailed specifications list on their website page for this bike, it is super sloppy.
Questions to all of you:
1) How good really is the suspension on this bike vs the Fox Factory series on high-end bikes... is it many times worse and...
I guess the price of this bike basically means that you get a spare battery for free vs other competing bikes. Not only that but you could probably upgrade the suspension later to something better and still be pretty cost-effective overall. The frame, motor, brakes and gears seem a solid base to...
Hi guys. This is now in stock where I live and I am really considering it as my work will pay half under a CO2 saving scheme. As a bonus, I live very close to the local Decathlon so maintenance issues would be a doddle. A couple of questions:
For £1500 am I right in thinking that I can't go...
I read a post on another forum that summed up some of the disadvantages of the YT very well: New YT Decoy- Mtbr.com
For me points 1, 2, 3 and 5 are relevant:
Add to this the lack of any sign of faster charging and it seems that the price and spec are counterbalanced by potential support issues...
YT confirmed to me yesterday via email that they will NOT be producing a fast charger in the forseeable future, so that is something to bear in mind as some of the competition will be doing that this year.
I actually have a Merida bike (and yes its a womans bike but the price was amazing and the geometry is good) where the rear suspension is at the back of the bike next to the wheel and not in the centre of the frame itself. Look at this link and check the photo, you will see the rear suspension...
I think that may be a little dramatic, no? There seem to be reliable and popular kits out there that are very easy to learn. I rode my friends today which is a Tongsheng (only the second time I had a quick go on an EMTB) and it was a piece of cake.
Hmm, but Bafang are pretty much illegal on any public area aren't they? I see they have 750w and 1000w versions which are way above the 250w legal limits in mainland EU.
Hi guys,
Hope you are all enjoying your long Easter weekends! Long story short, I want to convert my full suspension MTB to an E-MTB so that when I buy a "proper" EMTB I will have a backup EMTB for friends and loved ones.
I have seen that there are various Chinese motors you can buy (like the...
