On large elevation climbs or places where you can actually exert yourself yes, you get out what you put in just like an analog.
On certain trails FF motors are overkill, and you will likely not get as much of a workout, it all depends just like which assist mode you use.
I recently purchased an SL after 1.5 yrs on YT Decoy. I have about 200 miles on it. For my riding style which is a lot of trail riding with enduro type rides mixed in on weekends, my preference is the SL. Don't get me wrong, the stock Decoy or Levo (with proper shock/fork) will crush big...
Does anyone have any tips for running a new rear brake line? Necessary to drop motor and/or remove battery? Sure would be nice to know if I can push a new line straight through without dropping motor. Want to run magura mt7 line to rear, already fitted front brake, SL comp large.
I did option 4 too but went XO1 with WT 46T giant cog. In retrospect based on how fast things wear I would go with option 5 simply because the replacement cassette is so much cheaper and not that hateful on weight. E13 HG freehubs are cheap too. Personally I find the 46 useful on big...
Seperate question, size large SL comp, maximum seatpost insertion length? I've tried to call Specialized Rider support 3 times in last week, sent 3 emails, crickets on their end, Covid message says everyone isolating...limited full specs on their site, best I can figure is stock post overall...
I just got an SL comp about a week ago, took to bike park yesterday, a buddy let me borrow his RS super deluxe most of the day (from FF Levo), whoa--transformed the rear suspension in a big way vs. little air shock that came on the bike.
My question to anyone who reads this and has upgraded...
Can anyone speak to max insertion length for Levo SL? I'm riding a large comp.
Stock post will not slam so considering OneUp 180mm, can't find specs anywhere
If Levo SL is 30/nm + 320W and Orbea is 60/nm + 360W then Orbea couldn't have the same range as the SL...
Double torque with only ~10% increase in watt/hrs surely means a smaller range?
I've had a similar noise from headtube area several times in the past. Has always been dust accumulation or dirt that seeps in. Happens in wet/muddy riding conditions and also when very dry and dusty. What works for me is removing fork to clean and grease headset bearing cups and race, I go...
For me chain made a difference but not enough. E13 cassette is the problem, get rid of it. The problem could be worse, if you had a Levo in the same price range you'd be spending a lot more upgrading suspension/components trying to get near the spec level of a Decoy.
E13 cassette is the problem, get rid of it. In hindsight it would be the most economical if you have 11 speed to have an HG driver on the hub and then just buy Shimano cassetes which are good and a lot cheaper than SRAM. Also SRAM doesn't have an 11 speed cassette with the gear range like...
