    What if they fall out? Seems like a good way to piss anti-ebikers off. Difficult to hear others. That being said, I ski with music. It is rare that anyone passes me skiing though so hearing others is less important. Helmet speakers are super easy to tap and pause the music.

    Knee and Elbow pads - help!

    Checkout gform pads. Very lightweight and flexible non-newtonian. They have a more burly e line pad that is likely overkill for what you described. Not appropriate for full on dh, but likely just perfect for the type of riding you described.
