I agree and the sole purpose of this bike is to decrease weight, but this bike the M10 model that 99% are out riding right now don’t have a 1500g wheel set as you stated above.
How about cockpit sizing for you? I demoed a L SL expert with Fox 36 and with my 34.5 inseam at 6’ and the higher than average seat height, I felt the SL had a roomy cockpit. I test road a L Occam the other day to get an idea about the Rise Geo, but it had a Fox 34 .5 less slack than the Fox 36...
I guarantee it ? isn’t the brakes. Contaminated, wet, but these brakes don’t lack function or stopping power. They are run all over 30-35# enduro bikes. I run the older XT M8000 2 pot on my 27# bike and 4pots aren’t even needed.
Looking at this color myself and was told by Invisiframe that they won’t be making a mixed kit, but you can order matte for front triangle only. Then you can gloss the rear with heli tape Purchased from Amazon.
It could be worse, you could be going back and forth on which 10k build to buy or not buy, or just waiting to see what else comes out within the next six months. Not to mention the different color choices.
Pike Ultimate at $899 is way over priced. Low $700 is a good price. For the US I know a shop where to get one for $725 shipped and maybe even a Lyrik as well.
For topic, I’m running a Pike on my 27# Ripley and no flex is felt and I weigh 190lbs. For the SL and the added 12-13 pounds I would no...
I’m 6’ with a 34.5 inseam and I would buy a Large, just like my current bike, Ripley V4. Due to my long legs a long dropper (180)is never an issue for me. My long inseam plays a factor in, that as my seat gets higher, the ST becomes more slack and lengthens the seated reach.
I know what you...
160/140 is normal and has been specced on many different bike brands over the past few years. Now I haven’t search the Max front recommended on the rise. Considering it comes in either 140-150 front,160 could void warranty as most bike brands give a 10mm variance option for front travel. Yes 140...
I’ve never tried the Shimano 12 speed, but have no complaints about SRAM Eagle. After going AXS it’s hard to go back to analog. Not a bad weight, assuming the wheels are TL? Can I ask your height/inseam? This won’t be a bike that’s readily available to throw a leg over to check sizing anytime soon.
Can anyone find a link or know if there’s an SRAM compatible chainring for this bike?
Congrats, looks sweet! Anyone know if there’s a SRAM compatible chainring for this bike/cranks? I tried searching, but nothing came up.
