200lbs with an air shock due to max pressure limits is it not? I am normally a bit lighter and should drop some weight in the coming months
Its the general feeling of slop in the rear end of the bike. Lateral movement/flex caused by the clevis. I think its noticeable to me since I bought a...
Fitted the regular cascade today. Added a heavier coil spring while I was at it. Sits about 30% sag but I'm a bit heavier than normal currently (3kg above my normal 90). 550 spring.
Noticed even more flex and slop now from the clevis design is that something others have experienced?
Yet to...
Don't suppose anyone's replaced the bearings on a gen 3 yet?
The lower chainstay bearings that sit next to the motor (the 2 larger bearings in the entire set). How do I press them out with the internal routing pipes being in the way? It's a motor out job but can't get the bearing removal plates...
Interesting comment
What do you define as pace? Dyfi Bike Park, Whistler, Fort William? I'd not even consider taking the Levo to these places, I hope I wont get scorned for writing this but I don't think its a suitable bike for grown up riding.
I think its a bike defined for average trail...
It doesn't get close to coil like feel. The LSR can be opened up to keep the traction high (for an air shock) but it just doesn't get close to the feel of a coil. It's just an air shock with a big negative chamber.
It also gets hot and ends up choppy on longer runs and after a couple of hours...

And my Patrol
its that good I want one for my Levo
So there are photos of the new 2023 RS Coil on a Levo Pro and a Stumpjumper
Does this mean they are ok to use on this clevis mount now? Want to buy one, have one on my Patrol and its an excellent shock.
Did anyone ever put the 160mm cascade link on (not the long shock) and care to share an opinion on it?
Couple of my bearings are toast in the linkages.
Ill either replace or go cascade. Aware of the weight limit
Interesting thanks, I think it'll be worth replacing the bearings in the linkages after all then? Was going to grab a set of sealed NTN, SKF or FAG ill check those out. I dont remember the bike feeling like this when I got it but I had just come from a 2019 stumpjumper so was probably used to...
Checked the wheels, not them. Swapped them round from the transition and still them same.
All linkage mounts are torqued.
Wondering if its the Sram derailleur mount now so going to replace that if needed, short of replacing the suspension bearings on a 9 month old bike I don't think there's...
Had my first decent crash wearing this, first ride after having covid and 2 weeks off the bike I was a bit tired. Attempting a small double jump which some of you may recognise (I am not good at jumping and honestly find the hill Im riding on here quite technical if you know it), I'd cleared it...
7 months with 3 sets of 38s now and:
Luftkappe makes all the difference in terms of small bump, with one fitted the forks sit there in their travel gliding over small chatter
Need to keep the seals lubed (I think WPL is shit and like treacle, but hyper wipe is excellent)
Need frequent lower oil...
Nukeproof Horizon V2, I always thought they were reasonably stiff really as I've got three sets on 3 bikes, much better than the rovals. May double check the spokes but it feels like the suspension linkage to me. Or maybe just the weight of the ebike
Does any one find their Gen 3 Levo a bit.... sloppy out back? Hard to describe but the bike to me feels as though the rear end can be quite wobbly. Almost like the rear triangle is made out of flexible plastic.
Everything is tight, so unless the bearings are toast I think it might just be the...
Wish I could be in the same position ha. ~£1000 for the link and shock. Maybe get £450 back from my factory X2 if lucky
I can, but looking over these recent geo comments I am not sure I should.
Whats with the middle headset and travel comment? Can you not achieve 165mm in slack?
Watching with...
Maybe worth getting him to clean and grease the upper and lower shock bolts and everything they interface with. Mine seems very sensitive to any dirt or whatever getting in. Given how much the rear triangle flexes because of this stupid clevis mount I think that's what causes it.
Mine got louder recently its also very gritty when I cycle the pedals backwards. Rest of my group complain they can hear it now when we go up hills
Had a few loose linkage bolts on mine this week. Enough to cause some knocking side to side. Also had to clean out my upper and lower shock bolts...
