50s in, comes in mullet but a flip chip allows full 29.
Definitely keeping an eye on the price now. If there's movement in the top end model Ill probably buy it.
I don't think they really know and its finger in the air. Tell me, if no frame clearance issues exist what exactly is the problem with removing a travel spacer?
I can only assume the idea was to get decent mid support out the rear suspension system to generate speed on. My Levo at 150mm feels...
Is it high progression or something I didn't see the figures?
What's the big deal with over stroking a shock? Removing a travel spacer won't affect the first 90-odd % of travel behaviour.
Genuine question, not going on the defensive here.
e/ I read the thread, seems a contentious subject on here.
Is that not basically a Bullet (whatever its called) then??!! Still think the Trek Slash + is the ebike for me until I look at the price.
Anyone over stroked the rear shock yet?
Does this thing fit a 29er rear (unofficially of course)?
Cant believe the price tags on it. I do want one but there's no way I'd spend the current price tag on one for the better spec.
Own an enduro so the KSL is option 2 like many others I think. But the enduro rear end can be chattery so...
Is there some sort of check list that exists for dampening rattles on the Gen 3 Levo?
Had a motor and battery replaced earlier in the year and slowly trying to diagnose a horrendous rattle that occurs over braking bumps.
Fork and shock replaced, all bearings good, all linkages tight, the...
Yeah, always something new coming out. I don't think SLs. Are quite there yet, although Rob Rides revent video showing the up and coming options from dji and zf are really impressive.
This is kinda what I want to replace my Gen3 Levo.
Non-clevis style rear suspension, decent suspension travel, silent motor, 50nm so you're forced to put some effort in. Good range.
Only other bike I'd consider would be the Enduro Kenevo SL, but I have an enduro already.
The DJI and ZF...
Had the chainstay replaced under warranty as well as the battery and motor and some other bits, which is a result because the motor was gritty and inconsistent and probably 4 months out of warranty.
Definitely sticking with the Spesh brand now, especially the concept franchises as my nearest...
I never resolved it no. It annoyed me so much I barely ride the Levo now since about 6 months when I got an Enduro. Fact, I've kinda gone off e bikes since owning the Enduro.
I'm currently replacing all bearings on the levo as i write this. The cascade linkage has slipped a bearing and the big...
Came to contribute and say thanks as I've found this during a bearing replacement.
My cascade link has done the same, bearing was on an angle. I've used the retaining compound mentioned here. Will see if that helps. Bikes ridden poorly for a while so hoping this is why.
Thanks both. My guess is bearings under load I cant think what else it might be. They spin freely on a work stand though.
Tyres and wheels are heavy- DD and Hope Fortus 30, but I run these on my enduro and while they are slow rolling they don't feel so draggy that its a problem.
The Levo for...
Random one, and appreciate this may come across as a troll or half term post.
Had my Gen 3 Levo for 2 years. I've gone back to leg powered bikes recently (a 2022 transition patrol @ 170/170mm and a 2022 Enduro @ 180/180mm). Similar builds across all 3 bikes, same tires and wheels.
Still take...
Just an opinion, its not like I'm riding a salmon with its tail flapping about everywhere its just got some flex in it that's all, there's nothing wrong with the bike. No secret they eat coil shocks is it.
Further rides out on the Cascade link, it honestly just feels like you'd expect. Ramps...
