Has he worn the spring away, along with most of his pads ? Dude really needs look after his bike, Check your pads after every wash..
Had a bike shop put one pad in backwards once... got a new disk and set of pads out of them.
iv ordered Fox x2 and 38's, i have an ext storia i will get altered to suit, But i liked the fox x2 when it held air... there supposed to be more reliable these days so will sling one in and try.

just noticed your fitting a shock with more stroke, more travel, a light spring will blow through that travel, also sit in the sag more, the 170 front has taken you higher, the rear won't. if i couldent try a spring, id go 550

Thanks, The crestline is 230x65, also 44mm offset on the forks. ohlins DH38 start at 46mm which i could live with, dont want to go any more as im already under recommended height of my bike.
