what is the difference between the two FWs that you indicate in the image?
- CRX10NC4818i132018.6
- CRX10NC4818i132046.6
I saw that the repository below also contains version 46.7 ...
https://github.com/OpenSourceEBike/Bafang_M500_M600/tree/main/Firmwares/Official/Motor/m600
Sorry ... some things are not clear to me:
- what are the changes to be made?
- Which FW should be installed, that of the M500 or that of the M600?
- What are the benefits of this update?
Hello.
I think it is the connection cables to the motor controller, through these the controller checks the state of the battery; I think you have to get a compatible battery, alternatively you could recell (sorry for my english) the battery by replacing the cells with more powerful cells...
Compared to the last generation, the M510 provides:
the maximum torque remains 95Nm
weight is reduced by 18%
the maximum power has increased by 20% (should correspond to about 14.5 Ampere for the 48v)
Maximum cadence support is extended up to 120 rpm
Thanks to the intelligent control system...
I think it is necessary to know the couple management parameters, @Kyokushin could you ask your contacts in bafang for this information?
Or if they can indicate to us how we can read them directly from the engine.
sorry ... I can't do it because the bike hasn't arrived yet; you can check the configuration shown by the BESST instrument as per the attached image, I refer to the part relating to the 10 levels of assistance.
They could give us some elements of comparison between the different versions of FW.
Great job guys, i think i will have to buy the BESST tool too and add my tests to yours. Also because my bike will have to climb mountains with my 115 kg. What better test?
I did some research, this should be the wiring diagram (updated).
I don't have the bike yet (today it is in Ukraine), can anyone who already has the bike confirm that the connections are correct?
Hi Andrzej.
that's what I knew too, the train with the bike should have arrived on August 20 ... Marina still has to give me confirmation. So I think it takes a few more weeks before I see the bike.
