    2024 Strive:ON

Seems just the Shimano 220 is flimsy. I’ll keep the rear for now as it’s quiet.

Yeah read above. I found AUTO to be very interesting. Need to try it again but weather is just shit and trails are closed

    2024 Strive:ON

Hey all, has anyone ordered a new chain for their Shimano XT equipped CFR? If so how many links? 116x, 128x or 138x? I'm having brain fade... Thanks!

    Strive:ON problems

Well that's VERY interesting!!! With the latest Flow update I was able to make one setting AUTO and I feel a lot less drag above 25km/h in AUTO than I do in eMTB. I'm sure there's something in it... either way AUTO works a treat

    Strive:ON problems

OK folks, thing is I can ride my bio bike over 25km/h on this stretch of trail which is mostly flat, slightly downhill and has a few jumps but can't pedal it over 25km/h easily enough to really him them at speed, bit frustrating. It's just weird that 25-28km/h is so hard to push through and it...

    Strive:ON problems

Hey all, I've been back and forth with whether to post this but... my Strive:On is great and I've gotten some good rides on it in the slop now. With Tobias's battery fix no cut outs from day.1 so nice that works. However I do find that at 25km/h it cuts off pretty hard and feels like an elastic...

I think I need to put a mud guard out back too. Also wish I’d been quick enough to get a shit flap as yeah shit does get in there!

    Waterproof trousers

I just bought a pair of last season ION Shelter 2L and they’re water resistant. DWR. durable water resistant or something like that. In the mud and pouring rain I would anyway put a waterproof trouser over the top though. For lighter rain or snow etc they’re great. Also 189cm and 96kg and 34”...

    2024 Strive:ON

I Love night riding. Typically have a bar mounted light of 1500 lumens and a helmet light of 1000 lumens. More on the bars could be nicer but this works very well. Have fun!! Edit: Oh bar light has a wider light throw/spread to light the general trail. Helmet light is more spot to see where you...

Garmin Watch and Bosch motor don't play nicely together?

Cool thanks for the detailed response. HR is more important to me than the power modes etc. so will skip the Bosch app for now I think. Cheers

Garmin Watch and Bosch motor don't play nicely together?

For sure they want to sell their head units not let people use their phones or Garmin units. All good I don’t need nor will I ever buy a head unit tied to one brand

Garmin Watch and Bosch motor don't play nicely together?

Ok thanks. It’s not a must have but it’s new to me and thought to ask. Wasn’t sure if anything changed with the latest versions.

Garmin Watch and Bosch motor don't play nicely together?

Unsure what’s possible to be honest, just know from mates with Garmins that they're connecting to their Shimano motors/controllers and getting additional info. This is my first eBike so I'm in the dark as to what additional data the connection might be able to 1) display on my Garmin Fenix watch...

    Strive:ON problems

Yikes I did go back and look at it and I'm concerned I'd screw something up or trash a cable so might not do this right now. Can you see if the bolts are loose without removing everything first?

    Strive:ON problems

Wow how would you even access that? You’d need a tool there what 60-80cm long?? Or am I missing something obvious like another access point?
