Battery temp & range - warm vs cold

Wouldn't of thought it would make a bit of difference as they will both be at the same temp within minutes of being in the cold air/wind.

    Problems with Di2 mode shifting

Not sure Steve, I just wish they would all make stuff great British weather proof. I look after my stuff, clean and lube etc after every ride and by spring I will defo need, new, headset, pedals, shifters and chain. Price you pay i suppose for still getting out when the weather's crap!

    Answered Ebike sandwich

Could use some foam pipe lagging, comes in around 2m lengths and about 70mm in diameter and probably cost less than a fiver from a builder's merchant for a couple of lengths. Can get longer lengths than this but to give you an idea...

    Problems with Di2 mode shifting

Yep had it a bit on both of the Di2 shifters, I just put it down to grit and crap in there, so I just blast with water and spray liberally with a water displacer/lube seems ok and works but still find it a bit clunky. Thinking of switching to the e7000 shifters.

Review Mudhugger FRX and rear 29er mudguard

Bought some of these after reading this thread and thanks, they are brilliant, perfect for today as it just hasn't stopped raining, put em on and got geared up and had a great slippy ride! Not sure how they will be in clay, we have alot if that in Lincolnshire but it's been too wet for it to...

    Rainsuits??

Was just looking at the dirtlej core edition but no stock anywhere then I spotted the MT500 dirtsuit for £225 from Rutland cycles and they had my size, yey! Great deal so snapped it up.

    Rainsuits??

My chest pockets have not leaked yet! An elongated tail is defo a good idea on a bike as normal jackets tend to ride up. Does have a 20k waterproof rating and 20k breathabillity which is pretty good. I use mine for hiking so cant really comment for cycle use. All I can say is I spent 7 hours in...

    Rainsuits??

I use a montane minimus which is great, works well, small pack size and lightweight. Only downside for me is the single chest pocket which is large but I would of liked some side pockets. Can be had for a good price if you shop around.

    Rainsuits??

I shall have a look for your review thanks. Agreed about the rear section! Not too fussed about getting that damp, mainly about keeping most of the elements out and mainly the mud. Got a few very good waterproof jackets and trousers as i do alot of hiking but there lightweight and expensive and...
