I try to change mine before the 0.5 wear point which is between 800 and 1000 miles. I do it to reduce wear on the cassette and sprocket. As far as lubrication I used Teflon on the rollers very rarely but spend some time to rag it nicely as I do not like the residue that attract dust.

Yep those are imperial miles. :) In Nevada we do not have any moisture, water or mud. This is May be why it last so long. Anyway your statement is scary about the reliability.

For my powerfly it was a no brainer. Because the powerfly 9.7 has a longer suspension and of course a carbon frame compare to the pwr 7. You can’t beat they for $500. On the other hand the paint on the carbon frame is not as good as on the aluminum because the paint flakes easily. You will...

My lbs open a inquiry with Bosch for a motor replacement. The symptoms are: - Squeaking noice - Back pedaling is very tough when cold - Pedals back kicking once in a while - Error 500 once and it took a while to disappear. - The battery range is lower too Anyway wait for the replacement.

I ride it is Nevada and the temperature has never been a problem for the motor. Today I get an error 500 in the garage as it was only 80 F. It get back to live after 5 minutes and it was even before I ride. Something is going on for sure. We go to the LBS soon to read the diagnostic log.

Had the same problem on the powerful. Went to the dealer and they had a little bit of grease on the rings below the stem. It fixed it and never came back.

Hi My bike is having 1800miles and I will change the chain for the second time. I take. Look at the sprocket (15 T on Bosch CX). I believe the sprocket is fine. Please confirm what I’m seeing. Thanks

To fix the disk rotor noise I replaced it with a rt86 instead of the original RT76. It made a big difference.

Clipless on road bike for sure. On emtb not so much. In emergency situation I do not want to deal with it. None sense for me.
