Eco usually only when riding with friends on analogue bikes.
Mostly use tour upping to turbo for a bit when when I need a 'break'.
Have been trying to get used to emtb mode recently but I struggle with the unpredictability of it. Maybe I'll get used to it one day!
Never used Recon's myself but from what I've heard they should be more supple than the x-fusion's. Recon's are also pretty easy to DIY service. If you're confident buying 2nd hand, a Rockshox Reba can be had for less than a (new) pair of Recon's.

Hi all!
I am wondering if anyone can shed some light on what to replace my headset with? Currently fitted to my Scott Genius eRide 920 is this (from the website): "Acros Blocklock / Tapered 1.5"-1 1/8", OD 52/62mm, ID 44/56mm"
It's started creaking, I'm not sure I like (or need?) the blocklock...
Ride: 10/10, highly recommended.
Doing it with a sprained ankle: 0/10, not recommended!
Thanks for organising/leading @steve_sordy
It was great to meet you all. Looking forward to the next one!
I've been to Pines a number of times now, usually do the red route twice with one lap hitting the bike park also.
Will keep an eye out here, would love to learn some of the off-piste stuff there 👍
As per title, I am looking for a 27.5 rear wheel. Must be 12x148mm boost hub, preferably 6 bolt & Shimano Microspline. Located North Lincolnshire. Cheers!
Finally been for a proper ride out on mine, absolutely love it. Just need a bit more handlebar raise but that's personal preference & an easy thing to change.
I don't have anything to compare it to really apart from a quick go on a friends Trek Rail 7. It feels like a modern, trail orientated...
I've just been skimming through it actually, sounds like fun even if potential danger of injury and dog poop
I still need to work out exactly how far I can go before my knees give me grief, but I shall keep an eye on the rideouts section
To remove the lockout system entirely I expect the damping units would need replacing?
I believe one can remove the lever from the bars & all the cabling and then the lockout would still be operable but not remotely
I'd guess on long smooth climbs the lockout may save some battery power? When I had a non-electric full suspension the lockout was very useful ...but, as you say, I can easily remove it if I end up not using it 👌
Clutter doesn't bother me personally though, if it's functional.
Nice ride! Looks like the 6.8 would have been about £300 less at current pricing, if I could have bought one, it's out of stock everywhere and who knows when more stock will be available.
Yeah I've spent countless hours researching and now I have something so I can get out riding and that's the...
