Sore mostly. I'm thinking of doing a little video of the aftermath, what i was wearing, how damaged some things were and unscathed others were and what i thought the outcome would have been without.
I try to take my safety seriously so i had on (i'm not sponsored, just so happened to be these...
I'm going to put the rest up later in the week when i piece together the videos and have the camera angle from the go pro that didn't fall off when i hit the ground hard.
this is why novices should never try jump lines when they aren't feeling up to it that day.
For all the haters parts of this thread were useful for me and I tried to avoid taking codeine when I didn't feel I absolutely needed it. Easier to control at home than in a hospital.
I will be taking it steady. The worst thing is my other hobby archery is out of the window too. ?
Going to take the downtime to get the suspension serviced and tuned.
Trying a massive jump line when I wasn't feeling confident on the bike. Although I had vetoed the black run dai hard which ironically then left me feeling like dying for the next 2 hours. ?
sounds like a lot of extra effort before setting off for a ride. If you are seriously considering running 2 sets of tyres you should probably just get a 2nd hand set of wheels for the more XC orientated rides. I had considered this approach but just don't like spending money on these kind of 1st...
rear DH casing maxxgrip assegai as my trip to ladybower resulted in a snakebite type puncture on a tyre that already had a previous repair and i just don't want to run it any more. Whilst i don't really fancy the maxxgrip (referenced earlier) it was the only option to get the toughest sidewall.
that's probably what did it. i usually had it set to 4k30 with superview on, but 60 drops it down to wide. i think i might just record in 2.7k/60 for the next few sessions and see. I just get sucked into the temptation to use 4k as it becomes more of a standard. Using 2.7k will make my cpu a bit...
Unless i accidently changed something it'll be running 4k60 with hypersmooth on (not boost). The angle thing was mainly due to moving the camera about, so the top of the helmet view was pointed too far down. i need to find a reliable way to mark out angles for different camera positions. When it...
Bit of a weird one. Go pro angle was all over the place on a bunch of the clips rendering that footage useless (unless you like to watch the ground go by) and i managed to pick up a puncture on the way. Regardless, it's the weekly attempt to play about with editing and try to make something...
Mine triggered a 504 the other week, but oddly it was when i tried to engage walk mode. ? In the 500+ miles since derestricing mine i've had no bothers.
if you go up towards wyn hill then towards potato alley you'll probably come past me and my group at some point. We are planning to set off around 7:30. enough ebikes and i might just bail on them. ;) ?
