I was going to order the dhx2 as 230 x 65. Do I need to go with a longer spring? Is the rule of thumb max travel plus 8mm?

I'm 50/50 on whether to switch to X2 or DHX2. Not really sold on the coil and having to experiment with springs when they are $100+ each.

The one up and bontrager are nice in that you can add a shim to limit the extension. So if you need 162mm you can buy the next dropper up (say 175mm) and shim it to exact fit. The reverb cannot be shimmed. I sold a reverb last year to get the one up. I've had no issues with one up or bontrager...

My wife's luna 750W destroys my trek that has the Bosch gen4. The Bosch is smoother but power wise it's like comparing a V8 to a Honda civic. Bosch and Brose are rivals in minor league.

I'm 178cm on a large. It fits perfect. 5' 10" is usually right in between sizes. I find large is always best for me.
