Hi Dave, I used 3mm Kaydex A4 sheet. If I was making another I might be tempted to use 2mm as I think it would offer enough protection and be easier to work with. Sorry no template.
Easy to make template though. Turn bike upside down and fold cardboard to shape then trim to fit frame contours.
Knocked this bashguard up in January and have used it on the bike about 25 times in mixed conditions. It looks a bit rough but seems to give great protection from rock, root stone impacts and mud ingress. Thanks to previous contributors whose ideas I have adapted. Easy to make, have a go.
