Not sure if this answers your question or not, but I found out that the pike 29 has an entirely different damper to that found in the 27.5.
The compression side of a charger damper is the same, but the rebound shaft is different.
But as said, the air shaft is where the magic happens.
What are the chances of modding this to fit other steps equipped bikes? What does the cable and plugs look like?
Or is this a load of crap and I should just forget about it ?
Tuplis, I'd have to agree with you. It seems to be so far wrong that it can't really be a problem. Out of interest, have you found that your range is still accurate? Cheers Mike
It isn't a complaint mate, it was more an observation and to express my concern over me worrying about my nearly new battery. It sounds as if I don't have a problem.
More importantly, thank you for the app and your hard work ?
I don't think people are not understanding, it just doesn't appear to be correct mate.
It seems as though somehow the app isn't quite taking to the e7000 properly?
I've posted this in the other group, but do you think I have cause for concern with my reading from Steps unlocker?
It's only done 3 cycles according to that, but I'm really not understanding the 32% health part. Can anybody lend some advice on this please? Thanks, Mike
I did this yesterday and it works fantastically, but the diagnostics worried me a bit.
I haven't ridden it very much at all, but my battery health percentage is really low. Does this mean anything or am I worrying about nothing?
As above really, the e8000 motor has a bash guard of sorts that utilises the 2 bolts at the front of the frame.
The e7000 doesn't have this. Whilst I understand that it's different, and that it probably won't fit, I'd still like to get hold of one somehow. Any ideas please?
Glad you're happy with it buddy, after all that's all that's important ?
It's so subjective though isn't it? What you describe, is polar opposite to the views expressed by others. Happy to forward on the thread if it's of any interest?
I like the yari on the Sommet, but I still very much...
I'd agree that the debonair part is good, if you do your research on the charger 2 damper it's sort of been agreed that the compression side of things leaves a lot to be desired, as do the adjusters that don't really adjust much very well.
Good news, is that it can be sorted by a chap in New...
