We are looking for a bike for my wife, she loves my Specialized Levo, however she is only 5ft tall and the Emolden-e is 2 inches shorter in standover which for her is a big thing. How does the motor system work? Other than the not too great Suntour fork how does the bike do? She will ride...
so I really like my Levo with the coil shock so I think I will splurge for the fox I like the idea that it has a two position lever so climbing will be a bit better, but the Fox uses the nylon style eyelet bushings. I know the Levo uses a 20mm X 6 for the top, but Fox seems to only offer like...
got mine done this past Sunday, less than 10 minute visit and my shop did not charge me even though I got the bike elseware (they were out when I bought)
got the x-fusion on the bike today and I really love it. I honestly feel more at home with it. With the air shock I had a very harsh ride as I had to run soo much air in it. Also i am a dirt bike guy, rode forever so the coil just does feel more like home. I now have a plush ride which I was...
So this past weekend we went to Lake Tahoe and I got to ride the Levo there for the first time. My wife is still a relative Newbie, so day one we stuck to the Powerline trail, then day 2 we went for the Sierra sidewinder and Corral trail, which were pushing her quite a bit. For day two I...
thank you, I am leaning the same way as you, I want the plush. I pulled the trigger on a X-fusion, but I splurged a bit on a Cane Creek progressive spring. Does anyone know what size bushings the levo uses top and bottom?
Yes, I agree, the top button would be better as the walk button..... I ride alot in the eco mode, so the turbo button is useful when I see a hill up ahead.....
so if buying a new shock, two questions, first off, stock shock is 52mm stroke, but buying the options are 50 and 55, what happens if I run a 55 instead of having Fox alter it to a 52? Second, what will the difference running a Fox DPX2 over my stock rockshox deluxe RT that does not have a...
If I do decide to try a coil shock.
I did find a X-fusion at a real good price that is 210 X55, might be worth a try. X-furion vector?? Or spend a little bit more on a Marzocchi Bomber CR?
what do you mean by the popyness? I understand the plushness and I like that. What is the weight difference between the coil shock and the stock air roughly?
I have a brand new Lyrik on the front, and at the correct 30% sag I never use much more than 80 of the travel so that is fine. Currently on the rear I am at 260lbs, gives me 35% sag, but I do use the full stroke riding, with very little jumping.
trail riding, no big air or anything crazy, mainly easy and intermediate trails, I know I will loose some plushness, but I am guessing that is the cost of doing business. I cannot loose weight and have fun If I do not ride.....
i just was wondering if the dpx2 will be better than the stock with volume reducers or worse as it would seem to me that it would have even more air volume
This will probably sound dumb but how do you all orient your mode switch, I am trying to figure out a good orientation so that I can easily hit the up/down, but also reach the turbo button and still have the walk button in a way that I can use it without putting my hand in a weird shape to hit...
