For my requirements the skinny tyres are to reduce rolling resistance and to ensure that i do not wear down my magic marys when riding my bike on the road when i use it as a commuter.
Im looking to buy a reasonably priced 29er wheelset for my kenevo to use as commuter wheels with some cyclocross tyres. Has anyone come across any deals or can recommend any? Thanks
Was supposed to be taking my lad to rugby in the morning but the wife has just agreed to so am up for triscombe. Do you want to message me your numbers so we can communicate final arrangements on Whatsapp. Cheers Stu
I live in Portishead, my local trials are also leigh woods but since buying my kenevo am tending to ride forest of dean alot more as its more suited to the type of riding i enjoy...decending and air time.
Would also like to hook up with other enlightened riders as none of my other 'so called...
I went into my local Specialized Concept store today. They confirmed they are not releasing any more 2019 bikes until the problem is resolved. They had spoken to Spesh that day who confirmed it would likely result in a 2 week delay.
On the plus side they have agreed to replace the motor and...
Your not wrong Stu. LBS said they would chase Spesh UK today for an update. Slim chance I might get it back for this weekend. Desperate to ride it again.
I'll let you know on the warranty being second to none as my kenevo is back in because of a noisy motor. Been with my LBS for a week and half now waiting for Spesh to confirm what they intend to do.
Just watched Robs London to Brighton vid and was surprised about the noise of the motor. Has anyone else with a 2019 noticed the increase in noise from the 2018? Or are some motors louder than others?
I felt a similar experience when I first purchased my kenevo. You have to remember that you are riding a bike that weighs twice as much as a normal mountain bike, with long travel suspension and high rolling resistance tyres. When you ride it in trial or turbo mode it obviously compensates for...
From what I have read it would seem that there is much debate and speculation on whether Spesh logs your ride data to prove that a 3rd party app has been used and their warranty subsequently withdrawn.
Has this actually ever happened to many (any) people?
Same as when you heard it on the Brechfa ride.
Likewise i will let you know when im heading to BPW. Im saving the pennies for a 2nd battery so hopefully will have one for next time.
Hi Chris, let me know next time your doing BPW. I cant come this weekend as the kenevo is back with spesh hopefully having a new motor fitted but did it last weekend on my tod. Managed 4 top to bottom runs plus 2 small climbs to get back up to pikidy pong from a full charge in about 2.5 hours. I...
I'm 2 months and 900km into ownership of a 2018 matt black kenevo and cannot praise the bike highly enough. In terms of whether a kenevo is the right bike for you really does depend on what type of riding you intend to do. If you have no intention of riding downhill trails or hitting the bigger...
