I tried Assegai on the rear but wasn’t that impressed - felt like riding through mud. You might want to try the DHR II in hard compound Maxterra plenty of grip and rolls well.

I use Renthal Fatbar Carbon and Aluminium bars. 30-40mm rise.

This is my favourite combo Maxxis Assegai 2.5 DD Maxgrip Front Maxxis DHR II 2.4 DD Maxterra Rear Good balance of super grip and a little more hard wearing through Maxterra and better rolling resistance on the rear.

I went for the E-Bike specific Hope Fortus 30 wheelset. The rear hub is setup to deal with the power of the transmission. Also the rim has extra reinforcement on the 30. They don’t do that on the 35 otherwise I would have gone up in width.

I have a set to go on my new Kenevo Expert build they will be mated to 36T Hope chain ring.

Levo or Kenevo? I’d guess it would definitely KO the Levo. What about a single crown 29 Kenevo?

Invisiframe isn’t expensive, it’s saved my forks and other scrapes on my other rigs. Fit and forget.

I’m upgrading the drivetrain too … I’ve just had SRAM AXS arrive. Basically I’m replacing everything (even the dropper pictured below to Factory Transfer and cranks / chainring to Hope. Have a massive box of new parts now 😂 It looks like this at the moment ready for invisiframe

Unfortunately it doesn’t come with the mastermind TCU display which I have become used to with the Gen 3 Levo Expert.

The headset race? Easier to get off though!
