Chain,cassette and chainring all been replaced. Mech clutch all serviced and operating as it should. The only thing I’ve not tried is another new chain ,a shimano 1. The owner of the bike is a friend and when he bought all the parts he was supplied a kmc chain and not a shimano 1.

Hi For me they reduced pedal strikes and definitely improved climbing on loose,muddy or rocky ground as I ride enduro trails. If you ride smooth trails and bike park stuff I can’t see a benefit of spending the money. I got the Hope 1’s and no complaints

Update to question Just found out cube now actually do touch ups for the emtb range. Guy at shop said from 2022 on. Paint touch up ordered and comes with a clear coat touch as well 👍👍

Burgtec bartender grips ,1st time using the grip came recommended and yes great grip. Kenda Pinner tyres loads of grip in dry weather (not shown them any mud yet) and seem to be wearing well. Roll well and seem to be handling all the rough rocky terrain I’m riding the on.

Fitting Hope 155mm cranks are software or firmware alterations required. Getting conflicting information.

I ride the same stuff ,on my 2nd bike with a Bosch motor and never have any problems. I don’t go near it with a power washer and clean the crud out from behind the chainring and the cranks once a month. Friends have had same probs as you with shimano and Yamaha motors all gone to Bosch motors...

Hi Snow foamed my bike loads of times over the winter,I use the karcher stuff they sell at B&Q. When bike is really dirty I get the heavy off with hose water pressure snow foam the bike then rinse with pressure washer (from a distance). Comes up like new.

Cheers for that Just need to find 1 on a Bosch motor and ride it to see for myself. They’re a bit pricey to just buy and see.
