Anyone Ridden Both an Levo SL and Orbea Rise? Looking for Power Comparison

My small comp carbon with 45id carbon wheels and 29x2.8 rear 29 x3.0 front tire weighs, SL 11 speed garbaruk, weighs 36 lbs with pedals. I think he got the 2 weights mixed up. The Shimano motor alone is 1000 grams more than the specialized.

Levo SL Gen 1 SL for spouse to keep up with me on my analog bike?

My vote is for the SL. The extra weight and power of the FF is a lot for a girl, sure it is fun and doable but I think women notice a lot more than guys. I had a FF for 2 years and an SL for one. A lot of miles and types of terrain ridden. I do not know yours wife’s weight but for me I can...

Levo SL Gen 1 Levo SL vs Orbea Rise **edit update**

Run her rear shock in low and drop the front fork to 140. Or run it mullet at 140 front. Or just put some 27.5 2.8 wheels on there

Levo SL Gen 1 Levo SL vs Orbea Rise **edit update**

Great points! The ep8 motor alone is a couple,of pounds heavier than the mahle motor. Power assistance is not free, it cost watts. So more assistance equates to less range for a given size battery.

Ebike Garmin apps ~ UPDATE: new multi battery support

I have a Levo SL and Creo SL and use a Garmin edge 1000 with Ebike field. If the Garmin is on before the bike I get -P- for a while. Also sometimes randomly during the ride -P- comes up but after a few minutes it reconnects and all is good.

Levo SL Gen 1 SL Comp Owners Thoughts?

Let me try and clarify. I am 115 lbs, husband 160 lbs. for 2 years I was on a Levo with 500 wh and he had Levo 700 wh. I could always go further than him, my settings were lower and I used lower settings but we always rode nearly identical speed. This year I ordered the SL when it came out and...

Levo SL Gen 1 SL Comp Owners Thoughts?

Range is no issue at all on the SL. I had a Levo for 2 years 500wh and my husband had the 700wh levo. On he SL I can do everything the 500wh could do and more. With the range extender it is more like me on the 700wh. But for me to need a range extender you are really talking about more than 50...

The Womens EMTB Thread - come on in ladies!

I think this is the only reason my husband has a 150 dropper, so he can do the lazy two foot stop. I have a 90 dropper on my gravel bike for this reason, I hate those cleats on rocks.

Levo or Levo SL - can't decide

On the SL you can set Eco to be what ever you want. I often just use 35% assist 100% peak for each setting. The SL has infinite tune and in addition, each level increases the acceleration.

The Womens EMTB Thread - come on in ladies!

Specialized makes the Levo SL in an XS. You can also put 27.5 x 2.8 tires on the Levo and significantly lower it.

An Open Letter to all Mountain Bikers....

As of last fall, US National Parks allow ebikes where bicycles are allowed. The BLM also took this stance. A specific trail or area can be omitted if the superintendent files for an exception. The BLM and National Forest are two separate agencies. The National Forest has not adopted the same...

Ebike Garmin apps ~ UPDATE: new multi battery support

You will just need to set it up once. The app stores one battery in the main section and the other below in a separate field. I find that the one that is stored in the lower section takes a few extra seconds to pair but always does.

Ebike Garmin apps ~ UPDATE: new multi battery support

Ebike field shows 100% with the main battery and range extender connected. Mission control shows 150%. My guess is Ebike field is only reading internal battery, so as long as you drain them together you will see the decrease. If you drain the extender first I suspect you will not see it, I will...

Ebike Garmin apps ~ UPDATE: new multi battery support

Ebike field works perfect on our Garmin edge 1000 with 2 Levo SL. I used the App management section under Garmin connect to set the battery ID to zero. Garmin found new bike and reports battery and field level.
