And I’m not exactly the lightest rider, probably pushing 100kg in kit. Especially just after Xmas.

This is a ride I did in peaslake between Xmas and new year was probably about 8 degrees and was seriously wet and muddy. Most of the ride was mostly on the 2nd setting apart from the last 5 miles or so on the way back to the van.

The Yamaha remote looks like an option. I have to agree that there is no real feel to the giant remote and I have pressed it a few times without realising.

I think I need to check how many tokens are inside my 38 as it’s way too harsh. I just assumed it came with no tokens in it like my 36 did.

Yeah 750 battery. I did a 30km ride the other day but very flat only 500m of climbing mostly fire roads trying out all the different modes, not as wet and used less than 50% battery.

So the first proper ride out today around peaslake, Surrey hills area. It was very very wet. I rode probably 80% of the ride one up from eco which I found was plenty. The rest I rode in either auto or full power. I would say ignore the estimated range when using the app.

When I connected the app with the bike this morning it offered me the update. It updates the app and the bike I think.

Might be worth getting a garmin watch. 🤔

There is a new update for the controller. You can now customise the buttons and yes you can set smart assist to one of those. And yes it works.

Hhhmmmm tempting. The progressiveness was something I’d heard about as to wether a coil would work. Most importantly coils look better 🤣🤣

First ride out on it yesterday after having it for over 6 weeks. which coil did you go to? I run onlins on my other bike and love the feel of it over air. Am very tempted for this bike also.
