keeping bike in garage on cold nights

Good info - they seem to be saying if below zero then remove battery and store in house - and then keep the battery stored between 10 and 20 when returning

Thanks for replies and info everyone - sounds like I'm ok to leave in garage then......good to know its got better protection than other devices. I know on the moto I have an optimate plugged in most of winter which helps. I can see me using this at least once or twice a week from now on - so...

keeping bike in garage on cold nights

Hi everyone, just a question on keeping bike in garage on cold nights - will this cause battery to deteriorate over time? I've had this previously with things like lights, etc and kept them in cold conditions which has led to battery failing It's a whyte e160 with internal bosch battery -...

    Whyte e-mtb

Great write up/review Phil, better than most magazine reviews I've read - thanks for that - really a big help. Hopefully you can make the motor work for you or adapt to the style a little. If you've ridden moto before then I can imagine it feels a bit like going from a 4 stroke to a 2 stroke -...

Help with new bike purchase - Whyte, Cube or Haibike

Just what I'm thinking. I've read reviews on the suspension, nothing in it and I think I'd probably get more out of giving them to a suspension tuner to make it better anyway IF NEEDED - brakes look better on the RS bigger rotors as well from 200 on s to 220 on rs - slightly better tyres on the...

Help with new bike purchase - Whyte, Cube or Haibike

Good advice - The extra battery is really for when planning big days out - I like the idea of a bolt on instead of carrying one on my back - Not sure if Whyte are going to bring out one of those add one bottle things or not.

WOW - I wasnt expecting this for the Whyte - a clear winner :) - Glad I asked. So now one final bit of help for those in the know - £650 extra for the RS or go with the S - I like the colour better on the S though :) all the best Mo

Help with new bike purchase - Whyte, Cube or Haibike

Great stuff - thanks for replies so far. Whyte clear winner - So with the Whyte is it worth spending the extra £650 for Fox suspension and brakes/tyres (looks like they are the differences) for the RS model compared to the R? RS comes with Fox float 38 compared with the Rockshox Zeb on the S...
