I think it depends on what firmware you're on. If you are on firmware prior to November 23 update, you should be good.. The OP and myself on this thread updated firmware which requires a syncing of controller to motor via authorized dealer.
The latest update has an auto scroll on the Kiox...
Do you see the HR data in the flow app? I have mine connected to my Apple Watch and just noticed that the HR info doesn’t get added to the file. I have a HR strap for my garmin but since Bosch doesn’t play well with Garmin i just use my watch.
Kudos to you. I wish the best of luck.
I love the Bosch motor and before I pulled the trigger on my bike I was debating on getting the lesser Shimano motor just so I could use my Garmin :(
Typically you’ll have your more dominate leg back on a bicycle as you use that to support yourself.
I’ve been trying to hit features with my dominate leg forward.
I’m right dominate but play many sports and have trained myself to use my non dominate hand and leg as it opens up your skillset. I...
You can manually change the time but once the phone is connected it overrides it and you’re no longer able to adjust time.
All my problems would be solved if I could just connect my Garmin…
Update I was able to adjust the time when the phone wasn’t connected but when the phone was connected I wasn’t able to manually change the time. The system says “using time on phone” but it’s still two hours off when using the phone. What a headache.
Just did a quick search and it looks like if you added another controller you’ll need to find a dealer to pair it to the motor. So lesson here is DON’T UPDATE!
Well that was a failure. I had plugged it in connected to my phone all was well but it wasn’t connecting to the mini controller. It would just quickly go past the connecting screen and go to “there was an issue”. So I went ahead and upgraded to the new firmware. As soon as it was completed it...
I got it all paired and ready to go but the selection button doesn’t toggle the screens but in the Bosch YouTube video they showcase that it can. Am I doing something wrong?
When cycling through my screen I noticed that the time is not correct but when uploading the data to Flow/Strava it all aligns. I tried looking in the app if there was a way to adjust the time but this day and age everything is usually automatic. I'll try and grab photos on my next ride.
I'll be tucking in my controller next week. I'll share photos during the process. I didn't really feel like spending the money on the smaller controller so hopefully my frame has enough space.
Mine has integrated well. My only issue has been the HR from Apple Health to the flow. There is a delay in data so I'm thinking an authorized BT HR trap would be better. I'm just upset I can't export all that data (HR and Power) to Garmin connect and I don't feel like paying for Strava's premium...
