Hi Zimmer,
Mine is actually the new Bosch CX motor; it comes with the 625 battery.
He has the 1.3Rx motor and we were both in turbo all night.....
We are out this evening, so I will mention that about his turbo level being set to 100%, thanks for the thought.
Like I said it was just really...
Hi Jack,
Yeah it's unrestricted.
He's had it from new and riding over these last 18 months from time to time helped me decide to get an Ebike.
He does tinker with mission Control but he was in full boost mode and we both rode it; the Jam2 was just easier on the ups... As I said we were both...
Hi Dano,
I got my 2020 Jam2 6.7 nine around a week ago and I started a new thread as I thought the forks would need upgrading asap.... I ordered a new set of Yari's to replace the Recon's.
Having ridden the bike I have decided to send the Yari's back; I have to admit that I am coming from a SC...
I totally agree on paper..... and I think subconsciously we both had his bike being superior, not just because his is detuned, but it's carbon frame, better forks etc...
I am thinking about offering him a swap ha ha.....
Good points Kilham,
In the most simplistic sense, or maybe I'm a bit simple :), I just had it in my head that the bikes would be more or less equal due to them both being "good EMTB's".
Hi All,
So I am totally new to E-biking and having taken ownership of my 2020 Jam2 6.7 Nine and I can safely say.... This is mountain biking, like I've never experienced...
I digress...
So something I wanted to ask....
My friend owns a 2018 Turbo Levo Comp Carbon, we were out the other night...
Hey Jimbo,
I have just bought the Jam2 6.7 Nine 2020 625.... and although it's only 3 rides old I would spend the same money again on the same bike, hands down...
I've even sent back a Yari Fork, I had bought, as this bike just flies out the box and is so much fun as it is...
My friend has...
Thanks Tooks,
My fork is the RockShox Yari RC DebonAir Forks - Boost 2018 - 29er.
Your powers of research obvisouly eclipse mine somewhat..... ha ha...
Quick update..... My serial number throws up the min rotor size is 160mm so would this mean its a PM6?
Hi Tooks,
You wouldn't happen to know if I would need the PM7 on the Yari's?
I am just trawling google and I am struggling to find which they use.
Thanks
I am coming from some 2010 Revelations so anything will be beaut to me ha ha...
That being said; it was interesting reading a number of posts regarding the 34's flexing etc... That surprised me and made me think 35mm stanchions were a minimum.
When I read that the Yari & Lyrik forks were...
Thanks Steve,
I am looking forward to trying them on the trails...
Although after 3 days of emails with TNT, it now looks like it won't arrive until Monday...
I can't complain as these guys are under so much pressure and doing such a great job; but I was so looking forward to getting out this...
Morning,
That looks a good price on those forks; a pair I was watching on eBay sold for more than that….
There are so many reviews and opinions out there I found it was a bit of a mine field; I ended up going for the Yari's due to being able to upgrade the internals, in years to come, to get...
Thanks guys....
Although it's now 14th May and my bikes still not arrived, starting to get a bit narked as I had the confirmation of shipping from the bike shop on Tuesday but TNT have said it's not with them....
I'm sure all will be OK but this is the 3rd E-Bike I have ordered from this...
Rather than start a new thread I thought I'd put an extra question here...
Does anyone have the typical or actual measurements of the steerer tube length of the Focus Jam2? I have a large frame size coming and their website says the head tube length is 130mm.
I am thinking of buying a second...
Brilliant reply mate, thank you.
Exactly what I've read about the recons and with the discount I got, I thought I'd upgrade those...
I've certainly missed a few years, 2009 to 2020 ?
Thanks Tooks,
I have to admit that I'm still riding a 26" so all these boost and offset is new to me...
What does the offset on the forks actually do?
More research required me thinks ??
Hi all,
I have the Focus Jam2 6.7 Nine enroute and having managed to get £700 off the rrp I am going to upgrade the Recon fork.
I am looking at something like the Yari or Pike, i wanted to ask if I went up to a 160mm fork, from 150mm, how would that affect the handling of the Jam2?
Thanks
