To clarify, my responses are specific to Class 1 only of course.
One of the largest systems...Jefferson County Open Space has included eBikes as policy as of a few years ago and after a trial period. It's set in stone. They are also allowed in all Colorado State Parks and on Forest Service and...
Update. New battery came within a week. Apparently there was also a firmware update which the LBS did. Back up and running! Also...the new battery came with a new battery rock guard which was sweet as mine was cracked and this is a $60 part! Go Specialized! Looking at 2021's for my son and wife!
Warranty battery approved and on the way. I'm asking for any details I can get but sounds like a common issue. Specialized is standing behind their product at any rate so I'm happy.
The only thought I have is that I am here in Colorado. I have been riding it in the snow (which is a BLAST!) but...
Well I can add myself to the list. I have 1,100 miles on mine and it's been flawless. I just replaced the chain and cassette and that's literally all I have done (besides rear tires...that's another story.)
My story is similar with the one blinking light when attempting to charge.
The thing...
To be fair...two that get my interest but top dollar plus tax ouch.
Specialized Turbo Levo Expert Mountain E-Bike - 2019, Large
Has 700!

These interest me but I'd still go 700w Spec instead of Steps 500.
Yep if they have what you want go for it. Had a buddy that got a good deal from PC a few years ago on a Kenevo. Right now they have zero for 2020 Spec and I don't think I've seen anything but 2019 and older for a long time on there.
Yep I get it and they can charge what they want but I watch and I have not seen them selling them too quickly. Lots sit for months and then eventually they may lower the price...a lot like a private seller in that regard.
I guess I just think that if I were going to buy a used one I don't see...
I'd just keep an eye out all winter for a good 2020 but jump on a 2021 early next year. The 2020's (and before) will have the extended motor warranty so I'd buy one if it appears to be good condition and they should be able to show mileage on the Mission Control app. But the problem is that what...
I hear you but I'm into my innovative method. The rest of my bikes have shimano so all the rest are pins. I have had a wipperman chain before. Now that's a true powerlink! No tools needed and never falls off. Easy trail-side repairs (as opposed to powerlinks). German engineering at it's finest.
Oh and make sure it's sitting down properly on the wide / narrow teeth on the chainring and not getting caught up anywhere in the chainguard and that it's winding properly through the derailler and not dragging anywhere there. Just a thought.
Well you could take it off and flip it to see if that solves it for now...if it was directional. Or, throw a new one on and see how it goes. I'd recommend the PCX1.
At 1000 miles I just changed the original chain out. I don't think it needed it but I figured it was a good mile mark to do it and...
So just a comment that if (or when) you bend a tooth on your cassette, don't throw it out or spend money on a replacement just yet!
I have heard of people replacing them immediately if they bend a tooth which we all know is common on eBikes. I do my best to shift "softly" but it happens and...
Thanks all. Yes, on the USB port...Bulls has done it among others. The power is right there and it would only be a few more dollars to Specialized to add. Maybe in the future...
On the saddle...yes, I had thought that someone might point that out. So in full disclosure to my eBike...
Yes it's the spyder I am after. Okay I see. so I need the ring removal tool and then the puller too. Got it and thank you!
I think the spyder will have to come off to get the plastic cover all the way off and be able to get in there to really clean it or to remove the motor someday if need be...
What tool is needed to remove the chainring on a 2020 Levo Comp with the stock Praxis cranks. It sounds like it's either the Park LTR-3 or the BBT-18? Or, post a link if you know in your response.
Praxis said to talk to my Specialized dealer. Looks like a cassette removal type of tool but with...
Just a post to celebrate turning 1,000 miles on my Levo!
I am blessed to live in an area (Golden, Colorado USA) where eBiking opportunities abound between our county trails, state parks, and other public lands. Being a long time, very competitive MTB and Moto rider I have found the perfect...
