Wow that canal though! I thought we’d had some rain.
I’ve had some pretty atrocious days in the saddle on my levo 18, over 3000 miles on latest batt/motor.
After early problems I was worried, but since spec sorted my bike I’ve been very impressed. I’m truly mad for it, denied my bikes for years...
I've been on a similiar kick this week. Hope floating rotors. Front from "stock" and a new rear to (sort of) match.
Last week I fitted a bolt on progaurd front mudgaurd. So this week I took some scissors and a craft knife to the old, tie wrap secured one. In order to fashion an extension for...
I chose the alu renthal flavour. Small shim required. i think some don’t require a shim but someone else may know a specific type. Anyway I’ve been really happy with the results. So far no sign of accelerated wear.
I have the mm front in 2.6 on my 18. Rear is a 2.6 butcher. I’m really happy with the improved(imo) handling characteristic. Butcher measures 2.4 in real life and is quite short in the sidewall. No pedal strike issues on standard cranks.
Me again. This week it's a bolt on front proguard. Annoying after buying a strap on(lol) only last week. I'll put that on the back(!)
New thicker grips after finding I like the feel using thicker winter gloves. Pics to follow.
Looking like a mech too. My lbs have adjusted the xx1 till were sick...
same battery chemistry as the levo but still a bit worrying. Also a big lump in a backpack. You forget it all while youre rolling though. Bike is light, nimble and fast.
i think any old v10 or demo can be a perfect self shuttle with one of these fitted. You can return the bike to standard in...
Hi, In a backpack with a quick release umbilical. only 7lbs extra on bike so hardly noticeable increase.
bought the levo on the strength of it. Might build another based on a demo DH bike.
Here’s what I did to mine(look closely) French lift-Mtb system. Really really good fun. If you’re looking for a playful ebike I can recommend this set-up. An old bottlerocket and fifteen hundred quid. Throttle controlled assistance(you have to pedal). Totally illegal and an Explosive backpack in...
I very much hope I never catch anyone doing that. There was some poor brother on tv the other night paralysed from the neck down with that very trick.
Just might have to go all Ezekiel 25/17 on the mf.
Second replacement set of front wheel bearings in 6 months. Rears are still original but shes eating fronts. Front hub has had some water ingress from new which won’t be helping I suppose. Perhaps a try for a warranty replacement hub.
I had a rattle that sounded something like cable tap, it developed after a couple of hundred miles. It was a sharper sound though, more of a crack than a tap. In common with what mikerb says, my issue turned out to be the headset.
This week it’s two pairs of pants for winter riding. Got them from revolution race who advertise on here I think? I got a pair of the hyper pro and a pair of the nordwand pro.Very impressed with them, seem very robust. Packed with pockets and zipped vents, water repellent/breathable etc. Great...
I wash my bike very regularly due to frequent use. I always use a hose liberally and some. After over 2500 miles im less cautious than most. No issues at all. Battery connected, pre-wet and remove mud with hose on shower setting, apply muc off, brew, rinse for ages rather than work, dry with...
i Wondered at first wether power/torque was slightly less in eco. Turbo seemed very strong. Sure enough it bedded in over a week or so and is now (I feel) very strong in eco by comparison.
Worth remembering I fitted a 36t front, with no noticeable affect on climbing the steepest parts in the...
