When I took delivery of my Rail 9 a couple of weeks back it came with the Mino Link in the low setting.
TBH I hadn't thought about it too much. It's been really stable on the descents and easy to climb. But on tight singletrack it's had a slight tendency to run wide unless I really get after...
Thanks for the welcome (y) I was organising demo rides on a few different bikes just before lockdown struck. So I took a chance on just going with the Rail. So far so good and the large size for me (5‘10) feels spot on.
Hey all, I've recently bought a Trek Rail 9.8. Really impressed with it so far and a very different riding experience from my 8 year old Cube 26" hard tail.
Loving the pace at which this thing covers ground. The bike's ability definitely outstrips my skills at the moment so lots of fun learning...
You could try Head for the Hills in Dorking? They're my LBS and were able to replace a bent derailleur on my Rail 9 the same day.
Seemed like they carried a decent amount of spares. They're still open so might be able to post one to you up North.
