    My Specialized Turbo Levo....

Thank you for your useful answer! Just one last question: did you maintain the original/stock front chainring (32 T)?

Sram EX1 on 2018 Turbo Levo

I agree with you. I started looking into EX1 because it seems that there are no 11v chains that are lasting fairly long in emtb's. I can confirm that, because I checked mine (Sram PC1130) yesterday and is close to be stretched out after only 400 km. I fear to break the chain in the middle of a...

Sram EX1 on 2018 Turbo Levo

Some companies, for example Bosch in his motor before the latest upgrades, lock the gear ratio into the software. You are not allowed to change this ratio, otherwise you get a system error. As I said, Bosch changed this behavior only in the latest software versions, and allowed users to choose...

Sram EX1 on 2018 Turbo Levo

Not every motor handles every cassette range. Old Bosch motors, for example.

    My Specialized Turbo Levo....

Hi, I see that you installed a Sram EX1 drivetrain on your bike? How does it perform? Do you have any issue with the Brose motor handling the big cog (48 t)?

Sram EX1 on 2018 Turbo Levo

Hi everybody, Does anyone use the 8V Sram e-bike specific drivetrain EX1 on their Turbo Levo? Just wondering if the largest cog of the cassette (48 t) could be an issue for the Brose motor.

Turbo Levo 29” front - 27.5” rear wheel?

Thank you for sharing your toughts... I have a couple of questions for you: do you think it’s really necessary to reduce the fork travel? In your opinion, leaving the original travel (150) makes the handling of the bike worse than before? What about lowering (maybe a couple of spacers) the...

Turbo Levo 29” front - 27.5” rear wheel?

Hi everybody, just thinking to upgrade my Turbo Levo FSR 2018 with a 29” wheel on the front, maintaining 27.5” on the rear. This seems to be the trend on many modern ebikes. Anyone already upgraded this way? If so, what are your impressions? Any tought about tyre width in this mixed...

For those who upgraded their brakes to Shimano

Thank you... it seems that the Sram spacer moves the caliper a bit forward. Juat wondering if this is good for the Shimano too.

For those who upgraded their brakes to Shimano

Hi everybody, I would upgrade the brakes of my Turbo Levo from Sram Guide to Shimano(Saint or XT four pistons). Could I use the same spacers for the calipers that come with the Sram, or are they manufacturer specific and I need to purchase the original Shimano? I’m asking rhis question because...
