I have a 2019 carbon levo, and it’s just developed a loud rattle when doing over chattery blimps like rock gardens at speed. I though it was the battery at first as you can feel it through the frame. I had the forks off re greased put back, (bearing ok) I’ve had the TCU out at the slack cable...
I have the same bike and I’m looking to go AXS, did you change your chainring from the stock 32t, will it fit the new 12sp chain. I’m looking at new eagle cassette, shifter, chain, just not sure if the chainring will be compatible.
i did that 200 miles ago...doh. So the cain will be dead in another month. So maybe ill do it then. Just costed it, upgrade kit axs, cassette chain £835. Wow ?
It’s more the cost of the upgrade kit circa £600 and a new cassette on top to go 12 speed. Also with the riding I do up Cannock chase, Llandegla, I‘d rarely use the 50t. But better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
Are you referring to the engagement of the free hub body? Lots of different manufacturers have different systems, pawls, ratchet etc. They all engage differently. 1 degree sounds ok some are 3 and even more.
Take off and nuke the brakes from orbit...it’s the only way to be sure. Then buy some sexy magura, Shimano, hope, or any brand they you fancy. Sounds like you’ve already made your mind up that this need to happen, you just need to get used to the fact it’s happening...good luck.
I have them on my levo, I love em, I was waiting so long for the DT swiss I got bored and bought the hope fortus 30 In red. They look great and I don't care about the weight. i also like to support British products, due to brexit n all.
