I'm asking because the two numbers I've found for max seat post insertion are 220mm and 255mm.
A one up 180mm dropper insert length is 267mm.
Obviously you could drop down to 30.9mm and shim up like the s-works.
But, it would be lovely if someone confirmed to me it'll go without sticking out...
Is it possible to slam the seat posts on these? Currently have a kenevo SL and a major issue I have is the seat. Ridden transitions for years and the seat tubes are always fairly short and the seats always go right in.
Thanks
I think it's all down to sizing for me, I just don't feel comfortable on the bike. It's a shame as it's the nicest bike I've ever owned.
No issues with the motor or delivery of power, that suits me well and I've managed to do some really good rides pushing towards 4000ft of climbing.
One of...
Unfortunately Im giving up on my KSL, lesson learnt about test riding bikes I guess.
If anyone wants a s works frame with 200 miles on in S4, give me a shout!
I like my fidlock bottle, it doesn't fall off.
Next week I think I may end up using my range extender, so I thought it would be handy way of swapping between bottle and battery.
I guess the other option would be to ask what bottle fits nicely in the bottle cage that the range extenders sit in?
Cheers for the help with the fidlock 😂
As someone who's ridden with a fidlock for probably 4 years and never lost one I thought it may work, maybe not, who knows
The charging cover has broken, that didn't last long!
I presume specialized will warranty it?
If so Anyway I can get them to send me one with out dragging my bike to a store for them to undo four screws and fit a new one?
Already mullet 👍🏼
Fitted shorter cranks, that's one more step towards being more like the patrol!
Interesting you mention suspension, both running fox X2, maybe I need to compare how they are set up. I always go off base settings then adjust to how I feel comfortable riding familiar trails
For context I live in east England, the home of small hills, short runs, small bike parks and lots of jumps.
Today I rode my other bike (new model transition patrol, 27.5 all round, 180 zeb up front, single speed. Basically a park/uplift bike) since owning the kenevo SL. And annoyingly made me...
Anyone know if the fox x2s that come on the s works frames have volume spacers installed from new?
Obviously I could go take it off and look but it saves me the faff if anyone knows the answer 😀
Here's to hoping they do eventually do that for all of us that just picked up ksl's in the sale 😂
Actually rode mine yesterday, thing rips that's for sure! Hopefully once I get adjusted to it, it'll rip even more!
That was the logic behind buying the frame only I guess, all these parts I had either spare or borrowed off my other bike so I could build it up how I wanted it straight away(hence the dirty wheels😂)
Might swap the lyrik out for a Zeb at some point, not a fan of fox forks
Well Ive basically finished up my build today, waiting on abit to re bleed the rear brake. Weights in at 18.9kg as is with what I'd class as a not overly weight conscious build
Took it for a spin up the road, so far so good 😂 hopefully I'll get to hit the trails next weekend!
Thanks!
Wheres the go to for cranks? (For future reference) obviously I'll see how it goes first, less inclined to change as I have fancy carbon cranks 😂
