Hi guys, not been on for some time but got a major problem today!
Jam2 2019 Shimano E8000 with built in 378W battery.
Went out for a potentially longer ride today. Started off using the TEC external battery. All was well. Eventually the display was flashing red and I made one last assent. At...
Just bought a couple of Maxxis folded MTB tyres. They were a bit of a panic purchase following a puncture incident where I thought the rear was shot but it's sealed and held so I don't need to rush fitting the new one and the front isn't too worn so I don't need to change that in a hurry either...
oops my bad assumed it was link to the manufacturer website! 😂
Crikey that site looks like a dodgy scam site to me. I think I have heard of pink bike before but would have been put off if I was looking to purchase it.
Thanks for the info. I just imagined you had to stick with the same brand as im relatively new to this malarkey.
The PC1130 arrived next day and is the right length out of the box!
I need a new chain for my Focus. The correct one is a Shimano CN-HG601 11 speed. As far as I can tell they come in 116 or 126 links. I need a length of 120 so need the longer one. All I can find is 116.
Any pointers would be appreciated or indeed alternative chain suggestions that would work...
Thanks Steve, been on Youtube and as confused as a very confused thing! So many videos with different methods!!
I think my original doubts are that the Shimano chain specked is shorter than what's on there. As yours was 120 links I can take it that is the correct length so I need to look for an...
Bit of a newbie question I suppose as I just bought my first pair of glasses. They have interchangeable lenses with different colours. The dark polarized ones are obviously for good bright sunny days but what about the others?
I thinks there's clear, yellow, blue and brown.
What should I be...
Need to replace the chain. Looked up the specs and its a Shimano CN-HG601 11 speed.
Got one and its 116 links. As the fast links are not reusable I thought id count the links on the old one before removing and there are 120. I think its the original chain and its definitely Shimano.
Has it got...
Keep the hose pointed away from the top tube/power switch and especially the hole in the front where all the wires/cables enter the frame.
I did used to give the frame a light hose off but didn't realise the charging port underneath was getting wet and corroding a bit giving occasional charging...
First time (and last I hope) althogh a couple of times I have seen the power button light pulsing after washing off but plugging the charger in sorted it.
Fingers crossed
