Is it feasible its my 11 speed shifter causing problems?
Had recent cassette, chain and derailleur change yet shifting isn't perfect. Randomly won't change up one cog (or down) but give it another click and it skips 2 cogs to the correct gear. Only happens in the middle range of the cassette...
Thanks everyone for the input. I went for the Oneup 100cc with the EDC tool as well. Seems to push a lot of air so hopefully will work well on th trail. I've also added the Stans Dart tool to my pack. Seems to work well in conjunction with Stans sealant which I already use.
Thanks for reply’s guys.
Not sure what pump it was but it wasn’t a tinpot one like mine!
Will have a browse at your suggestions thanks.
It’s still up this morning so the plug worked and my heart is still working and my right arm has stopped aching!!
Had a double puncture on my tubeless rear today. Farting about trying to get the Stans sealant to do it job with much pumping and ended up having to plug one hole but nearly gave myself a heart attack trying to pump the bloody thing back up.
Any recommends for a good pump to carry on the bike?
Never knew the name of that plastic disc and had to look it up!
Just replaced my cassette and on the guard one clip was already missing and another cracked as I was removing it to have a good clean.
So google shows me that the cool guys bin them anyway so should I source a new one?
A quick...
I don't think anyone knows 😂
Luckily for me it was on the back of the chain ring and that begs another question, why not on the front where it's marked 34T ???
Think I've narrowed the chainring down to SM-CRE80 or SM-CRE80-B
The first says chain line 50mm and the second says for chain line 55mm, what does that mean?
Hi guys, I've decided to change my Focus Jam2 transmission after having a few little problems and want to start from new.
I've identified the cassette as a Shimano SLX csm7000.
The rear derailleur is an Deore XT800 11 speed but I'm not sure if its a GS or SGS (i'm leaning toward SGS)
The chain...
The charger is definitely junk. The spare one has charged both batteries.
I think I have now worked out what happened.
Every time I get back from a ride, usually using the frame battery, the bike is left in the garage plugged in to the original charger that is kept in the garage.
I always wait a...
Update for anyone stumbling upon this thread.
It was definitely a faulty charger, the replacement one charges the batteries just fine.
Wonder if I can get it repaired?
Hi Guys. My Focus Shimano E8000 charger has packed up. When you plug it in there are a couple of steady green flashes as normal then a feint green flash and nothing. On the feint green flash the TEC battery flashes once so there is some output for a split second.
I'm sure its the charger as I...
Yes its cold today. Only had a non charging problem once but I always wait for the click and the green flashing light before leaving it. Years ago I bought a spare 4amp charger (the better one) in case of any future problems. It appears to be charging out there so I'll give it a while and go...
Thanks Steve.
The connectors in the back of the display seem fine.
I've taken the 4amp charger out to the garage and it seems like its charging.
Took the 4.5amp charger indoors and connected to TEC pack and it won't charge. So I'll give both a while and see what's happening.
