They just posted a video introducing (not teasing) the new and improved 2023 Rise. Seems like an evolutionary and not a revolutionary change. They showed the silver one. It seems like it would be worth waiting for new 2023 Rise over the 2022 model. Probably not worth trading a 2021 or 2022...

I am wondering if the Shuttle SL with the new Fauza motor is having motor hardware and software problems that are causing too many trips to the shop. (In looking at the Trek Fuel EXe forum, it appears the the TQ motor is causing significant problems to a number of people that make it high risk.)

The regular smaller/lighter battery for most days and the range extender for long days. Adds versatility.

Since they don't have demos, Trek told me that if I wanted to return it within a month, no problem.
