You may want to consider an electric lift - similar to what is used in repair shops. While most of those are quite expensive, there is one that more for your DIY'er at home. It still isn't cheap, but something I've considered, even though I can lift my ebikes by hand. Remco Tools - Bike Lift

I thought I had been doing the 2 step release process, but I now notice that the release ring had seated itself against the metal barrel so when I was twisting the release ring, the barrel was also unscrewing.
Thank you for your note and calling out the 2-step process. That did the trick...
I replaced my dropper post with a new OneUp V2 and when I go to unscrew my Syncros SP2.0 pump (which is only a couple years old) all (and I mean ALL) the pressure out of the dropper is lost. I haven't had this issue when filling shocks or even the OEM (Specialized Command Post) dropper.

Props to you all! Gives me hope for a long eMTB riding career!
I feel like a kid at 62!
Pretty new to MTB - did some road racing back in the day, but 4 yrs ago got a Levo and have since added a Fuel Exe to the stable. 2 partial knee replacements and I haven't had this much fun on a bike since...
Just another newbie to the forum. Originally from Minnesota, been in the desert now for nearly 20 years.
With a Trek Fuel Exe 9.5 and a Specialized Levo (along with 2 partial knee replacements) I'm a big advocate of emtb's. Not only enabling me to keep riding at the age of 62, but I haven't...
