@jd_3d thanks :) read all the threads, it's on my list to get once I get the bike. In fact, I'm more certain how to derestrict it than I am if I'm actually getting the bike!! (see my other thread for angst over whether to get. the Levo or a hardtail as I basically need to commute a way on it)
@R120 I agree there are many other bikes better suited to that purpose alone - but I suspect that as I get back into cycling more and get fitter, my basic love of mountains and mountain biking will re-emerge and I can use it to get beyond injuries and age and get back onto the trails again. Am...
The excuse is I have an 18 mile back roads, relatively flat, windy country lanes style commute (if I take the back, avoid-the-main-road-and-the-big-lorries way) from home, to the train station, and the same back.
Hence I plan to buy a Levo FSR :-) Which is perhaps overkill, but it's the...
Has anyone used the BLEvo (and a BV6000 or similar) as a replacement for a Garmin bike computer on a road bike?
i.e. ignoring it's Levo integration, how well does it work for mapping, nav guidance, and the squall data fields one sees on road bike computers?
Have done a quick search - it seems the BV6000 is the preferred go to device for BLEvo to create a decent mtb bike computer setup. Is this correct? Is there a preferred extended battery pack for the BV6000 or is it ok as it is?
(mods feel free to move this to a different thread if this is not...
not so sure it is that high - given that the warranty is then gone, that's a chunk of value there..... of course, if it were lower that would be great :-)
For those lucky few who have had previous Levos and upgraded to the latest, what sort of loss did you take on your bike when selling it on, and how old was it? Interested to know what the s/h market is currently like.....
Am interested as whilst the last of the models in the UK were going for...
In the UK we're waiting for the next batch to be delivered - LBS says all 700W batteries are for the iop bikes, or for warranty, and not able to swap out at purchase time - this after talking to Specialized - before that he thought would be possible. So it's either a supply and demand issue, or...
great solution. For those using it, I have a question - does the bike behave the same? I'm just wondering if the usual firmware/sensor setup offers differing support depending on speed/torque/pedal rotation settings (around the general level you've chosen) or if it's linear all the way through...
Have my 2019 Levo FSR on order, but am contemplating the Haibike xDuro AllTrail 5.0 FLYON 2019 (120Nm motor, 630Wh battery) which is a similar price. Anyone ridden both and can comment?
Thanks both. @Mcharza Not sure if Blevo will work with 2019 - do you have experience of this?
@ros 361 do let me know how you get on.
(I suspect a dongle that halves the pulse count will work on practically any e-bike, but I;'m not sure if that's howe they work theirs!)
Hi all,
I have a 2019 Levo FSR on order, but am likely to take it to Africa and want to ride it de-restricted there (middle of nowhere). I can't find any definitive approach to derestricting to where it's legal (either in software or with a dongle) - has anyone managed to do this?
thanks.
